Ashawathama and Prabhas and other warriors in the flashback are more like demigods. Only God is Kalki and the guy (Krishn)whose face they didn't show from the flashback battle.

Shambhala is an ancient Hindu/Dharmic concept that lost its mainstream story over millenia. It remained alive and mainstreamed in Vajrayana and subsequently Tibetan Budhhism from where it was identified by the west.

The old being you are talking about is ashwatthama is not a god but an immortal cursed human being who was cursed by krishna to live until the end of these yugas he is strong and bigger in height as depicted in scriptures that human beings were much taller in history, like thlusands of years back, in this movie amitabh sir played his role and prabhas had a fight with him which he managed to make it long 😅

Glad you liked it. If you had known every little detail about the World's Greatest Epic, The Mahabharata, you would have enjoyed it x1000 more. BTW, Prabhas was not God, but one of the most powerful characters of Mahabharata. Every character of this epic is so powerful and gripping, its just amazing.

1st half was kind too much fan service which is kinda needed for prabhas fan I think I am not a big fan of that and disha was like a filler character and annoying too but bro the 2nd half wtf was that it was great I mean climax,detailing and everything and ashwathama character daymn kamal hasn character was great and every single shot of mahabharat was best overall a great movie I can ignore mistakes and its sure one of those movies I will watch at least 2 times I just hope next part they will not include stupid jokes and pls kill disha character for story she is the biggest annoying factor

Avatar is a sanskrit word btw, Shambhala is a mythological city in Himalayas, no one knows where it is, Ashwatthama is not a god, Krishna is god kalki is god. Ashwatthama is a human like karna, Arjun. They received a lotta boon from gods such as krishna, Shiva, bramha. Don't say we can fight gods. That's why Ashwatthama couldn't fight krishna.

You need to have some Mahabharatha context before enjoying this completely, like the scenes of Lord Krishna why is it so epic why is he hidden or the epic case when Bhairava turns into Karn its historical significance, why Ashwathama was figuratively bigger and why he needed to protect Sumati's kid and much more stuff like that. I researched before going to this movie best thing I have ever done.

Rajamouli was one of the Cameo, threatened Prabhas that he will take away 10 more years of his life for another movie. Remember Rajamouli took 5 years for Bahubali Series and Prabhas was forbidden to take any more projects during that period. It is an ongoing inside joke among Telugu speakers that Rajamouli will take a youngster into a movie and by the time the movie comes out, that young boy would have aged and would have become an old man. 😂

All the characters in Mahabharata are not God. Of the part shown in movie, only Krishna is God and 8th Avatar of Vishnu. So, Prabhas character is not a God. Also, both the epics are mythology not History.
