Let me explain why Indian audience is damn eager for this: In Hinduism, there are 4 Yugas (Eras). Satya Yuga (Golden Age) Treta Yuga (Silver Age) Dwapar Yuga (Copper Age) and Kali Yuga (Iron Age). The charachter played by Amitabh Bachchan is ashwathama... He fought from the side of kaurava in the battle of mahabharata...the "pandava's" againts whom he fought, for revenge he tried to kill an unborn child from panadava's family.. The god krishna(one of the Vishnu's recarnation) stops him and curse him that he will be immortal till the end of kaliyuga.. He takes out his gem from his head which used to give him strength and healing power...and also in curse he mentions that he will fight and guide KALKI to defeat KALI. So u can see in one frame the ashwathama is all covered in bandages and a spot of blood on his forehead where his stone used to be..
