7 жыл бұрынCraig A. Miller (born October 24, 1970 in Los Angeles, California), better known by his stage name Kam is an American political emcee known primarily among hip hop fans and music critics during the 1990s & early 2000s.
He is known for his Nation of Islam-influenced lyrics and NOI membership, and affiliation with his cousin, fellow West Coast emcee Ice Cube. He is also known for his powerfully commanding baritone voice and knack for using multisyllabic rhymes. He has only released two albums since his well-received 1993 debut album Neva Again. That album featured inflammatory anti-government lyrics and hit single "Peace Treaty," a song about the 1992 Watts gang treaty. The song reached #2 on the Hot Rap Singles chart in 1993.
His first appearance on record was with the song "Every Single Weekend" from the 1991 Boyz n the Hood soundtrack. Since then, he has collaborated with artists including Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Coolio, E-40, Erick Sermon, MC Ren, C-Bo, DJ Quik, DJ Pooh, Tha Eastsidaz, Method Man, KRS-One, Public Enemy, Nate Dogg, Warren G, Dogg Pound, Xzibit, Tyrese, Tank, George Clinton, Dresta, B.G. Knocc Out, Yukmouth and Glasses Malone among many others. He has released music on two record labels, East West Records and JCOR Entertainment. He is currently signed to his own record label, HEREAFTER RECORDS, and plans to release his fourth solo album. He is also currently a member of Snoop Dogg's West Coast supergroup The Warzone with MC Eiht and Goldie Loc. Kam and his biological younger brother, "Yung Bruh", are also a NOI-based rap group called, Fruit Pruno. Their self-titled album was released during the NOI's Saviour's Day 2010 summit (specifically on February 28, 2010).

This album is a slept on hip-hop classic, from the underrated, Watts best kept secret, DAT NIGGA KAM!✊🏾 his song “every single weekend” on the BITH soundtrack was one of the best on the album. The he dropped this classic debut album. I’m from the Midwest but shot out to Kam!✊🏾

One of the best rap songs ever. I worked at DJ Pooh productions and my desk was next to Aaron Kam's Manager. Ice Cube wanted out of his Atlantic Records Contract due to them wanted to end what they called "Gangsta Rap" so to exit the Contract Cube was forced to give Kam & Yoyo to Atlantic. Sylvia Rome was the President of Black Music at Atlantic and when she called Aaron put her on Speaker: "Nobody cares about your religion or politics they just want dance and have a good time..." We knew then that it was over. #RBRN

Do you mean Priority Records.? Cube wasn't signed to Atlantic Records. All this sounds new to me. Kam was pissed at Cube for some of the things he did such as leaving him with an $853,000 bill for sample clearance as indicated by Kam himself in an interview. The politics Kam saw and realized Cube sold him. Elaborate on that.!

@@dionedwards8300 Not sure about Cube leaving Kam with a bill but yes we all had problems & beef's. I was on the film side put the movie Friday together Cube got rich we didn't(in my case I didn't even get credit). DJ Pooh wrote the movie did the Sound Track got credit but didn't receive a dime in back end or in the many sequels. I was specifically speaking on Atlantic taking over Priority records and killing the political Rap that was the voice of the Black community at that time. #RBRN

Kam Never Again song is a classic. He sampled Zapp Heartbreaker and Parliament Flashlight songs. LOL@Kam lyrics. Never Again album is trash LOL. Album cover sucks LOL. Kam should've did more albums. Willie D of Geto Boys, Ice Cube of NWA, MC Ren of NWA, LL Cool J, 2Pac Shakur(RIP), Gang Starr(RIP Guru), Redman, Ice T are my favorite music rappers.
