About 10 minutes later I was like yoooo I gotta get the fuck off this train!!! I got that panic feeling real bad. I fought the feeling and stood on the train. After the bad feeling went away I was so stoned for like 3 hours with blood shot eyes for real! That chronic was kick ass.

After about 20 minutes of stressing over how and when to join in, I usually decide that sitting quietly is better than making some super cringey, out of place interruption into the conversation. But then after like 10 minutes of sitting quietly, I start stressing that maybe this is even weirder than just butting in. The process just goes on, and I just end up stuck in a deep state of introspection and anxiety. Weed’s not good for socializing for me - especially in groups. Yet for some reason I can’t resist taking a hit every time a blunt is in rotation. I do enjoy weed a lot though, even high dose edibles. It may put me in a hole, and it may be a wild ride, but I never regret it when it’s over. I feel like there’s some benefit to it. I’ll look back like “damn I was high... good times”. I definitely prefer getting stoned alone though. Then I can just focus on eating, laughing at funny videos, or getting lost in a videogame, without being paranoid about how I’m behaving socially. I can enjoy getting stoned around other people, but it has to be a highly structured event, so there’s no spotlight on me or expectations of me. Like exercise, a day at the beach, a field trip, a guided tour, or a movie. Something where I can be around people and be involved in something, yet it’s still acceptable to just kick back and be in the background if I want.

Bro no shit the same thing happend to me. I started smoking weed at 13 years old. Was smoking weed pretty regularly from 13 right up until I was about 23. Never really had a bad experience with it could smoke shit loads of weed aswell. And as soon as I got 23 I just started getting crazy anxiety. And now I hardly smoke anymore.
