Using both Diseny canon and the true canon (the EU/Legends) is just confusing and they contradict each other too much. Granted Diseny canon contradicts the movies as well. But overall great video.

I thought they were about to with the Final Order, and then it was revealed that there's just this big group of Sith cultists on Exegol that made the fleet. I left the theater going "They really just established a great setup for bringing the Star Forge out of Legends and they chose to go with 'lol Sith cultists' instead?"

if you think about it his motive is pretty inconsistent and nonsensical and makes him seem like a total impressionable idiot. he wants to create peace, but he’s totally cool with knowing and participating in creating both the clone army and the separatist confederation and droid army and creating a galaxy spanning war? he thinks the jedi are corrupt, yet he’s okay with being corrupted himself by sidious who he knows is actively pulling the strings of the senate, jedi order and republic? and clouding the vision of the jedi order? i don’t understand what dooku’s actual motivation is. does he want power? does he just want to rebel against the jedi order? that seems more understandable as to why he was able to overlook the illogical actions he was taking.

A lot of times, when I watch these deep lore videos, a I balk at how convoluted or disjointed the overarching narrative is. However, this topics covered in this video were extremely well thought out and clarified many things for me. Well done consolidating that much information.

My favorite analysis I heard was that the Clone Wars was not between the CIS and Republic. Considering it was anufactured clones fighting manufactured droids it was literally Palpatine's war on the civilian populace of the galaxy, using the tactic of death by crossfire.

Its likely that the many contingency orders were not implanted however the chip implanted only order 66. The other contingency orders were simply memorized by the clones.

James Burgess It’s... messy. Technically season 6 came out in 2014 after the purchase. But the season was in development and mostly finished before the purchase. Which is why it was referred to as “The Lost Missions”.

It's pronounced 3 different ways by Dexter, Kenobi, and the narrator for Darth Plagueis. All official media so it don't matter say it however comes natural. Dexter is in a movie so I go with that as "most" official. But characters in universe have accents, he could be wrong ect.

The Sith were conspiring with the Kaminoans since the death of Sifo Dyas so the Kaminoans knew all along that’s why they had the chip inserted and knew it’s purpose. They kept it hidden from the Jedi. This is shown in the fugitive fives arc in season 6 of the clone wars where they try to cover up the purpose of the chip as he is onto them. It also shows them in contact with the Sith during them episodes

33:29 Iirc (and I rechecked the wiki, but that could easily be wrong), the "canon" ending for Force Unleashed II is the light side ending where Starkiller/Galen spared Vader for interrogation and trial. So, Galen is quite possibly alive and out doing his Galen thing in the galaxy at large.

Vitiate actually kept multiple bodies (mostly as safeguards) around. His original body was also still around for most of his life since the ritual of nathema was what extended his life, he used a variation of essence transfer to possess the other bodies. His original body was destroyed in 3631 bby and that actually killed him since he was down to his final body by then

Minor correction: Starkiller (clone) was only struck down by the dark apprentice in the alternate dark side ending. In the official ending, he survived, was reunited General Kota, and and they captured Vader, before linking up with Proxy and Juno Eclipse and heading off to the Alliance's base (at that time) on Dantooine, with Boba Fett following behind. Sadly, we never got to see what happened after that.

I gotta say I’m really happy too see you’ve slowed down a bit, I’ve followed ur channels progress for a few years now and when u started u used to speak sooooo fast. The videos were always greatly informative but at times I used to have to rewind to rehear what you said. I think it was probably beginning channel jitters/stage fright kind of related. Only reason I bring it up is cause I just watched one of your older videos I haven’t watched in awhile and then this one. And dude the difference is night and day, your older videos feel like your speed reading a script almost nervous in a way, where as this feels very laid back and like you’ve found your stride definitely a lot calmer. Anyway keep up the good work just wanted to congrats you on the progress of your presentations and as a KZfaq run general. May the force be with you my friend

This video in particular is really what I'm most proud of on the whole channel. I always wanted to use the right clips to make a coherent completely fleshed out story that is spread over all kinds of sources. I am so appreciative of these longer videos. I don't know much about KZfaq honestly but from what I do know alot of content creators would take a topic like this and split it into 3-4+ videos, now I've heard this is better for monetization or I guess you'd call it ad revenue and view retention but the fact you're able to put out something with a large amount of in-depth information while being of this length is awesome and it really changes the way some people will absorb the information being presented. 10 minute videos are just snippets that can feel jarring for people with long attention spans, While it's true people with a short attention span may click away from videos over 10 minutes, for those of us with a longer attention span these videos are just pure gold.

I really want to do these on all sorts of topics and characters, even if it was the same or slightly less it is more epic for lack of a better word. Actually Revan made the rule of two first, but then Bane found Revans holocron and mixed it with his own, after enforcing the rule of two. Which Revan did not do yet. Great video! You really did your research in this. I didn't even know about the force making normal clones harder to make. I always thought it was just force user's that had a hard time cloning.

Awesome video! There were definitely issues with the prequels, but there were certain little things I loved, like the aesthetic foreshadowing in ships and technology. A perfect example is at 6:54, where the interior of Kaminoan buildings were made to resemble original trilogy Stormtrooper armour.

i have gone from a not so much of a star wars fan into a fanatic of star wars, wanting to know every bit of information on the topic, your videos have me hooked like an addict , how i feel is like a Sith thirsting for more knowledge of the dark side of the force, always feeling there is more to learn from the master, how you explain every bit of detail and information on star wars has me gripped, always thirsty for more SW knowledge, without doubt i feel SW should be paying you a wage of some kind,, i feel for sure you have had the same effect on others turning them into SW fanatics, thank you for the hard work you put into these videos, much appreciated dude.

@@Agent_3141 yes but their are most likely more jedi on the mission on Cato naimodia or the Wolf pack was not on Cato naimodia at all and they have a mission on their own. Also he completely freaks out when kanan and Ezra arrive. He thinks that the jedi want revenge. But he knows that Rex and Gregor didn't kill a jedi. Also he wanted to hand them over to the empire. Before Order 66 he was the most generic of the group [ he was like the kaminoens wanted their clones; not like Rex who thinked a lot {you know what I mean}. And Gregor was a little bit mental "unstable". So of this three clones he would be the most likely one to execute Order 66

That might explain why they kill off the green eyed ones. Since short duration clones go nvts, nuts because of the force acting on the duplicates (Joruus) - how would a bunch of jedi traipsing around affect clones during development?

Watching this video has made me not really hate Dooku anymore. I honestly feel sorry for him. He just wants to avenge his friend, but joins the wrong side due to not knowing the true circumstances behind Qui-Gon’s death.

I hope this video and your channel gets the recognition it deserves. You put a lot of time & effort into this clearly. I have so much to say about this but i type what im thinking at the time so my comment would be all over the place :) Fascinating topic overall and i like how you incorporated the lore from both canon and legends. From a great flood to clone armies to essence transfer. Its funny because the Kaminoans didnt want to open their planet up to outsiders and once they did for trading purposes then thats when it all went down. It was cool to see how the force tries to combat the process & how the cloning evolved to slowing down or speeding up the aging process but they also included how there are failures with the whole process like deformities etc essence transfer is definitely one topic i would love emphasis on.. Bane & Vitiate stories on this are just unexplainable i love it. Vitiate says he has the patience of a rock which i would also hand that to plagueis & sidious as well. It takes patience to come come up with an ultimate grand plan but of course their arrogance blinded them from seeing or not caring about the failures that could come along with it. Going against the natural way of things ends up being ones own demise. The kaminoans started this as a way to keep their species flurishing because they had to adapt to their new way of life..it seems cruel their methods but for them it was a necessity i guess i mean they couldve came up with some way to make it fair for others but even in reality with animals for example its survival of the fittest type thing so i think thats where they were going with it. But what got me the most with the whole cloning thing was the addition of the chip in the clone troopers...that idea is so scary because one minute you are so close with someone and the next minute they turn on you and kill you...thats insane you have to be pure evil to think of a weapon and idea like that. I guess in the end it shows how cloning may have started innocent and seen as a necessary thing because it did have benefits to it but ultimately its not something natural i dont know a better word for it but because of that it fails in the end because its like oh lets see how far we can take this & its beyond what the natural state of things can handle. Anyways great video and cant wait to see how cloning ties in with the Mandalorian show.
