Cashews, mangos, and pistachios are edible cousins to the poison ivy plant. Each of these foods can potentially contain urushiol, an oily substance that's present in the plants, and is often released when touched (like poison ivy) or bruised (pistachio, cashew, mango, or poison ivy.)

Oh wow. That explains why I'm allergic to only cashews, but no other nuts. I never really bothered to google it. But oddly enough I only have issue with cashews period. Not pistachios or mangos.

I always love the tours and updates, checking in on what feel like old friends now. I'm not even sure how many years I've been watching, but I know it was before the first Aquascape project, and Slinky was about half the size he is now. Sooooo many things have happened since then!

did anybody else catch the sneaky tick at the base of Nos' neck?? I was hoping he'd catch it but it was in a weird spot. I love how calm and accepting he is of Kenan. Honestly Kenans relationship with all his animal is amazing! Love keeping up with Kamp

Good morning everyone! It was so nice to see almost all of the animals and changes done at the Kamp. The only ones we didn’t see today were the fly river turtles, the black throats, the red foots (Lego!) and the big ponds inhabitants (did we see the Chinese box turtles?). Thank you for showing Lumpy today! I’ve missed him and all of the large tortoises. PS. Kamp Kenan has their own version of “Otis”, Marge! She wants food and will beg and chase to get it!😂

Everything looks "dialed in" its looking amazing kenan, you and Matt gave done a fantastic job as always, seeing nothing but happy animals full of activity. This was great and lifted my mood today. At the very end when you were with the American Alligators, one was in the water and when you closed out the segment the subscribe button popped up and I jolted hahah thought it was the alligator coming out haha. What amazing enclosures you have. I hope you never stop educating about reptiles. Slinky is so adorbs!!

Petra & Petro has been there Since Day One!! About time, they receive new enclosures. I felt they got neglected for a long long long awhile .. Black throats have "The Cave Of Wonders". 🤤 Blackdragon Lockjaw/Sulfur Dragon sleep in the house(literally °~° ) Pinky moved to Jerry's (WolfeWorld 😊) Solomon/El Diabla moved..😢 Slinky has the paradise of a lifetime😂😊 Lola and Guapo have Slinky's residence Marge is living and thriving with Lucifer(caiman creek)😗 Buttercup have a private sanctuary😄 Lagatha/Bobby have passed away..😢 Leo and Sophia have the air conditioner enclosures..🥺 Socrates,Dwarin, Tummy/Cersei they have the Oasis jungle😉 Connor, the oldest snake there has his own enclosure with a water foundation😁 Redfoots/Cherryheads have the front yard..😆 Fly river/snapping turtles have Biggest Pond in the backyard😂 Exotic Turtles have the AquaTerriumin near the front house with Shade😘 Hercules/Brutus have passed away❤😭(Lumpy has no real rivals anymore🤕,lone wolf)

Blow my mind this is the biggest thumbs up I could ever have imagined and it looks like heaven and there is so much mutual respect that I have to wonder about freedom of thought and the freedom to be honest with yourself, ignore the camera if you like, when you found someone human you truly respect and it's for all the right reasons. I wish I could achieve more then I did in this lifetime

The enclosures have become things of beauty, especially the tropical ones. In any of them, with a good director and the right camera angles, you could film a wildlife adventure indistinguishable from the actual locale. You have every right to be proud of you accomplishments. (I suspect the residents feel the same.)

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" is definitely a very true statement for our exotic animals whose medical needs are often much more difficult to spot... it's important to remember that showing outward signs of sickness is like a beacon to any potential predators that they are vulnerable.

Awesome virtual tour! Everyone is so happy & beautiful! ☀️ - My Dad was a lifeguard at WetNWild in Orlando back in the day & he would say that same joke to people in the wave pool - “Watch out! The water is wet!” 😂 - Life is likely out there, but we may never know. - I am the favorite & that’s okay.😅 - I remember when Lumpy was sick. So glad he’s still around to be our Kamp Bachelor. Yay for Collen too!

Such an amazing collection of animals and ALL of them treated to great enclosures. Of course Caiman Creek and Slinky's Tropical Estate (as I call it in my mind when you show it in a video) are beautiful, but every one of your animals is treated with a reverence of life that is a true credit to you, Kenan, as the ambassador of conservation that you are. And I've said it before, it's wonderful having Matt behind the camera and playing the role that a guest at your property would. Great things, sirs. Great things.

We needed this update. You missed the redfoots I think. The Aldabras are going to form a nice breeding group once they grow up. I would also trust the caiman more than the alligator snapper.

30:56 I never knew snappers would come out to bask, until I saw one sunbathing for the first time a few weeks ago while biking along the D&R Canal trail in New Jersey. There were a bunch of painters on the same log and they high-tailed it out of there as soon as I stopped to look, but the snapper was a lot more chill and just continued soakin' up the sun.

Hi Kenan!Maybe you might consider upgrading the skimmer on the front pond into a bog filter which is much safer for your smaller turtles. Ps. You missed a tick on Nost's neck.😮

15:24 remember when picking ticks and squeezing them you can infect your self by having a small cut. Just wash house hands as well!

There’s another good size tick on Nostradamus, you can see it when the camera gets close on the under side of his neck. You take such good care of your animals, and my son, who is 4 absolutely loves watching you!

Great tour!! You forgot the baby black throats!! I know they were in the previous baby reptile and lizard feeding episode, but it would be nice to see them again. Didn't you have another set of reptiles that had shinier skin? I wish I could remember what species they were. Also, do you ever sit by the lagoon just to chill with Dale and Snag?
