Kampong Glam Ramadan Bazaar 2024: A Vibrant Singapore Food Adventure in 4K Ultra HD!

The Kampong Glam Ramadan Bazaar, held annually in Singapore's historic Kampong Glam district, will make history in 2024 as the largest and longest-running iteration yet, spanning 34 days from March 2 to April 5. Open daily from 2pm to 11pm, the bazaar will showcase over 100 stalls lining Kandahar, Muscat, and Baghdad Streets, with approximately 80 dedicated to food and beverages, and the remainder to retail. Attendees can look forward to live cooking demonstrations and performances by acclaimed Singaporean and Malaysian artists like Taufik Batisah, Tomok, and Alif Satar. As part of the bicentennial celebrations in 2024, Sultan Mosque will be adorned with light projections of archival images depicting its historical milestones every Friday to Sunday starting at 7:30pm. On March 23, Arab Street will be closed for a communal iftar gathering, with an estimated attendance of 1,500 individuals, including beneficiaries of charitable endeavors. A portion of the iftar proceeds will be allocated to Sultan Mosque and its associated charitable causes. Organizers from One Kampong Gelam anticipate welcoming approximately 700,000 visitors during the event, maintaining affordability for both vendors and visitors by capping stall rental prices at S$13,800 for food and beverage vendors and S$3,500 for retail vendors, thus mitigating the impact of rising costs.
