This was SO much fun - I loved it when those two men decided to join the dance! Secretly, though, I was hoping that at least SOME of the decorously-clad ladies would take a good look at the dancing and decide "Those three gals are having a LOT more fun than I am - dancing the can-can beats sitting here laced into a corset so tight I can barely breathe and wearing shoes so "dainty" that i can only take little mincing steps. The hell with respectability - I'm going to join them, kick up my heels (and skirts!) and have some fun for once in my life!" ;)

I have visited Chester a few times, though not been there recently. I once saw a production at their theatre of that show which the can can originally came from. I am not sure how to spell its title. A good live can can livens a holiday up! 5:28

I think it was back in the spring of 1990 I saw 👀 Orpheus in the Underworld at the Gateway Theatre in Chester. I believe it was performed by the Chester Operatic Society. So I know what it is like to see the can can performed in Chester.
