He is the unsung hero of Team Japan, thanks to him and Cathy, Japan was able to enter so many team events, persevering through injuries without a complaint. Your hope was to grow ice dancing within Japan after retiring through a new venture in coaching and choreographing but know that you have already achieved that. Rest in peace Chris and thank you! ♥

姉弟カップルの演技って、どうしてもロマンチックな雰囲気が出せないケースが多いけど、リーズ達は全然そんな事を感じさせない、正統派で、エレガンスで、ロマンチックな美しい演技が出来る稀有なアイスダンサーだったと思います。そして、かなちゃんと組んでからのクリスは頼りがいが出てきて、更にセクシーな男性らしさを纏うようになってた。クリスが長年怪我と闘いながら頑張ってきたおかげで、今の日本のアイスダンスがあると言っても過言じゃない。ほんとにありがとうクリス😢 突然の事できっとクリス自身もびっくりしてると思うけど、どうぞ安らかに。

本当に信じられません。。。新たに指導者として日本のペア競技を盛り上げてくれるはずでした。経験はまさに貴重な財産…。日本のフィギュアスケートになくてはならない存在でした。ご冥福をお祈りいたします
