The only reason he defeated Luffy was because he had more plot armor than Luffy. It was never a fight of strength, but a fight of plot armor.

If you listen to the fights dialogue you'll realize that Katakuri wanted Luffy To Beat Big mum e.g Charlotte LinLin. Teqnically Katakuri Wouldnt Want To Take Back The Island In Its Current State. He Wants Luffy To Liberate His Home. Also I Dont Care About The Spelling That Much In This. Good Video Though Mate.👍 Edit: With The "Luffy Sent Me To Beat On Your A$$" line. Luffy And Katakuri Have An Intense Respect For Each Other. Also, He Never Took Over Whole Cake Island. Still A Banger Tho.

For all of the mods he uses, Mochi typically would give Logia invincibility (even though it shouldn't), so that's why, excluding the cheats he uses. Doesn't really matter anyways, the video is for entertainment and is staged so he wouldn't have lost anyways.
