I've seen another video of a bunch of foxes stuck in a deep ditch thinking they couldn't get themselves out and in the end one of them jumped up and got himself out lol it shows you how they can get scared and confused, a lot more than we humans do and physically they can't handle being scared as well as us they can have heart attacks from being frightened the poor babies.

The roo was fine. Didn't need rescuing at all. Other comments mention that roos go in water all the time to drown their predators and this lil guy just kicked a cyclist he felt threatened by in the water shortly before this.

Yeah the roo was fine. Didn't need help. It wasn't drowning, it wasn't even close to needing to swim. It wasn't lost, wasn't hurt. Nothing. The roo was fine. I reckon the only reason it didn't go them at the start was because it _was_ in water and that makes it hard to kick and fight. It sure wanted to go them when they got it out but everyone was crowding too close and again it couldn't kick.

That Kangaroo wouldn't have saved those guys.

I said to someone else but sometimes animals can get scared and confused then think they're stuck there despite how high they can jump, they totally misjudge their own abilities when they get too scared. We don't know how long it was stuck there so if it was stuck there for hours then it probs got scared and confused then thought it couldn't get out... it happens to all kinds of animals. We can't judge them by human standards because they're just a lot more innocent then we are and act a lot more on basic instincts so if they think they're stuck then they're stuck and need someone to save them otherwise they'll die there from starvation and dehydration.
