Kangaroos are plentiful in the area and often enter into suburban outskirts of Melbourne. Unfortunately too many people drive too fast at night resulting in many road kill on our roads which is distressing to see on a daily basis. They will hop out directly in front of cars. We have just driven 11,000 miles in the US and saw perhaps 2 deer road kill. We are often confronted with several road kill on our roads within 2 or 3 miles/4 - 5 Kilometres
