Dqydj changed my life. I thought bmx was all ramps and dirt but during Xgames one year they showed footage inbetween runs from dqydj and I was blown away. Real street stuff with Rails to ledges etc. Mind blown.

Nobody has done street like Edwin. Riders today may do tricks that are more technically difficult but they mostly look jerky and sketchy with crank arm landings and under rotations. Like the man said more isn't always more.

I got huge respect for Edwin, his bmx time was really influential and he had sick style but lets be real for a moment, he aint gonna do any video part. He says he is going to film some, whats the point of that talk, nothing happened for over 10 years. Its very unlikely for him to do anything when he is pushing 40. Another thing, him just being very vague about bmx, not talking about it with friends is kinda whack, I mean no offence but it's one of the best parts of the community appreciating what others do and talking about ideas, parts, tricks and I guess its to everybody taste to do it but its just kind of disappointing. I guess he never wanted to be a role model or anything, he just wanted 'do the shit' as he explained but he seems to kind of ignore emotions going around tricks, sessions and video projects overall.

No offense, but some of these questions could have easily been avoided with a little more research. Nonetheless, keep doing your thing.

I use to be a fan of Edwin until he was on another interview dissing Kareem when Kareem was just trying to show him love. That something you just don't do being black in a room full of white people. That some Cornball Shit. Shout-out to THE GOAT Brad Simms.
