Once upon a time the Niners were a very hard team to run against. Not so much any more so Mahomes should have the full play book to operate from. The Niners do get stiffer in the red zone. So hopefully the Chiefs score (touchdowns) b4 getting in the red zone.

@@tlwatts88 #27 Chamarri Conner has looked very good the few times he's gotten in the game. I like the fact that he immediately made an attempt to rip the ball out of the Buffalo Bill player's hands. Deon Bush picked off Lamar Jackson in the AFC championship as well. The Chiefs will need to come up with a few turnovers to make up for the void not having Omeninu will cause. He makes Chris Jones, Karlaftis, Danna and others on the line job's much easier. Players on the line and in the secondary must step up and make plays to fill the big void losing Omenihu leaves.

The Chiefs didn't re-sign Frank Clark before the Wildcard, so it's pointless to even tease signing Sammy Watkins for one game. Stop the cap, and quit with these made up trade rumors. What about McKinnon? Is there any chance he returns for the super bowl? Chuck Noll is the best coach ever IMO. He is the only coach to take all college draft picks and teach them his system/philosophy and lead them to a super bowl ring. No other team b4 or after that have or ever will (with free agency) do that again.

@@user-fo6qm1wp3w Actually it says on Dec. 24, 2023 he was placed on injurred reserve prior to week 16, ending his regular season. It also says "he has a groin injury and he could make it back if the Chiefs make it deep into the postseason" They could certainly use him to block and then release to catch dump offs when the first couple reads are not open. So he can make big plays out of nothing like CMC and Deebo do for Purdy. He is also dangerous in the red zone.

@@user-fo6qm1wp3w Yeah he had surgery on 1/10/24. He's doubtful. But not 100% sure he's been ruled out. It is supposed to be a 6-8 week injury. The super bowl is just a couple days short of 6 weeks. So he might be available.

Joe Gibbs won 3 SBs with Joe Theisman, Doug Williams and Mark Rypien. Much tougher to do than have one HOF QB do it 4 times.

@@felixrodriguez7423 It depends on if the coach you have drawing up the game plan, preparing the team, deciding who plays, calling the plays, and what adjustments are to be made ,makes winning the game harder or easier. Some quarterbacks and some teams win in spite of the coaching and others because of it making it easier. IMO there are far more coaches that don't get it than those few that do. So you as the player(s) must find a way to "Win Anyway."

I think the REAL reason why Toney isn’t playing is because he wants to do more than special teams and Mahomes doesn’t trust him. MVS is turning up so he can get his ring and leave with some dignity.

Chiefs don't allow quarterbacks to run. They contained Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson well enough to win. I'm sure Purdy made the mistake and showed his running hand too soon, so he won't be surprising them with his legs. The Niners defense is much more than just Armstead, and Warner. Niners also have Bosa, Hargrave, Young, Greenlaw, Gregory, Ward, Kinlaw... I don't think Mahomes ( hopefully won't hold on to the ball and sit in the pocket too long)' will give them many if any chances to sack him. I certainly hope Andy Reid will allow Mahomes to use the no huddle off and on throughout the game so Mahomes can call more of his own plays on the fly to chew clock, score points, and punt less.

Sammy was a 3 target guy in his prime. No point in signing him when MVS basically does the same thing. Just feed Kelce and look for Rice. Much more worried about Thuney.
