You claimed you can't hate people you don't know but you jump into considerations to criticize without making the necessary enquiry. This guy build his cars from the scratch. Search for more KZfaq videos about how kantata cars are made and you'll see for yourself. I've done that and I'm really proud of him. You are a hater stop been hypocritical.

In a lengthy piece talking about Kanatanka’s vehicles, a writer on the jalopnik blog, Raphael Orlove, carefully deconstructs the myth around the first ever made in Ghana cars, tracing their origins to a Chinese company that ships car parts to other parts of the world for assembly. Apostle Kwadwo Safo, popularly called Safo Kantanka, is the Ghanaian entrepreneur and inventor who recently released his Kantanka brand of cars which have been widely praised as being the first ‘made in Ghana’ cars to hit the market, and he has garnered rave reviews from both local and international press for his exploits. This prompted the writer to look much closer into the operations of Safo Kantanka. “To the extent that the cars are produced in Ghana, it appears to be matter of final local assembly of components that have been stamped out and largely prebuilt in China.” Orlove writes. “It would seem Kantanka’s unique contributions amount to little more than the badges and trim, a fact that has escaped news coverage to date.”

Wahaha 'they root". Stop it na. You are sounding like a defeated cow. Their root is in america. They helped built this country so they own this place as well. I understand that they have a blood lineage to Africa but asking them to just pack up and leave america sounds very foolish to me. There is nothing in wrong with having homes on two continents like my family does. I'm Nigerian & my family have homes in 3 different continents.

No. Any simple search reveals the truth. The true manufacturing country is in China and its name is Weichai (Chongqing) Automotive Co., Ltd. It is the exact same car that Safo sells as "Kantanka" SUV. All he does is put on a cheap stamped "star" above the grill. Total fraud but hey, ignore the facts it's all true if you just believe hard enough.

seth poku bro this what I was telling some guys that no single car company makes all their parts. I have work at BMW plant in UK and work for Denso who also make car aircondition for almost all the car companies in Europe. So for him to say all that sounds foolish since that is the normal practices in car industries.
@bennartey3409
@bennartey3409 6 жыл бұрын
seth poku The cars that you see being built in videos on his TV channel are NOT the ones being made for the public to buy. If you are importing 97% of the components of the car and assembling them, that's what it is: just an assembly plant that assembles cars for sale. It is a good step in the right direction, but let's call a spade a spade.
@bennartey3409
@bennartey3409 6 жыл бұрын
keep Britain klean I get your point but let's not create the wrong impressions that you made everything yourself when clearly less than 3% of the components were made by you is dishonesty. In the US and UK that you are referencing, automakers have been required to reveal information about the amount of U.S. and Canadian parts in their cars, the nation where each vehicle is assembled, and their transmissions’ country of origin. The Chevrolets, Hondas, Buicks, Fords and GMCs that you are talking about have at least 82% domestic content in the US and Nissan and others have at least 78% local content in the UK. Kantanka makes almost NOTHING here in Ghana for those cars in the showroom. He imports it all and assembles them here in Ghana. So we may feel proud, but you can't eat pride and all the money will go back into Chinese pockets. This is a step in the right direction, but let's be honest when we make a claim.

This kind of business practically had already applied by ASEAN countries since over 30-50 years ago! Example Malaysian, Thailand even Indonesian also produce their own Airplane, helicopter, ship, Armored vehicle, etc over 30-50years ago and Submarine lately... You guys are 30-50 years behind even the smallest ASEAN country. Sorry bout that but it's the fact! Now they have their own manufacture as the result of Transfer of Technology! You guys can foolish around inside Africa only but not outside of ur continent... Good progress anyway!

king black King Black I have been hearing about the chinese doing this as a tactic since African governments have been keeping them from monopolizing the industrial markets. I must admit that I discovered the same thing with the Ghana waste management. A chinese company just using natives as a frontman... Hopefully the government will wise up and pay better attention to how foreigners go out their way to undermind the law. Ghanaians just as other African countries should invest full efforts into their own innovative creative concepts when it comes to industrialization and building up its infrastructure.

Have u thought about ur relocation thoroughly. Africa is not this romantic place u guys are thinking it to be. They have different systems & not much of the little things that makes life easier that u guys take for granted over here. To survive over there u have to be really business minded or have connections to high paying jobs or be born into money. It still a developing continent for a reason, although there many beautiful places that ur media is always allergic to showing. I noticed that a lot black americans are not business minded. U guys just believe in working for a company & living in fear of ur boss till u develop a blood pressure & then retire at 65 & start collecting a nonsensical fixed income when ur body is no longer functioning properly. Africa needs ideas and people who are ready to invest to visit her. One of the reasons the US(a land that was nothing but bushes at one time) has become the most successful country today is because they industralized & diversify this place. People from different background bring in great ideas. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying don't go live in Africa. I'm just asking u to really understand where u are going. I hope u do understand their demeanors are different from americans as well. Example: u guys take every behavior as someone hating on black americans. U will be in for a culture shock if u are the type that easily gets emotional or attitude about every damn little thing. This not to say i'm not wishing u the best of luck. Make sure u know someone who u can truly trust. Be street smart. But if i were u, i would visit there a couple times & understand the enviroment b4 relocating. I'm African or should i say American since i was born here & i luv taking vacations with my parents to the country that owns my flesh & blood. Plan on spending equally more time as i do the US with my future family. One of the good things or bad u could say about Africa is that when u have money, there is no limit to what u can do or where u can go compared to the US. People are respectful & have a sense of community except when u run into the crazy ones. And u will run into them trust me, this is where u will need ur African wife to come an show them, lol.

@Ghosststar
@Ghosststar 6 жыл бұрын
Luke Sky are you planning on moving to Ghana? And if so you can probably compare the price of this Car to the one you have now or plan on purchasing before leaving and you can see if it is worth it, even with Import fees to Ghana may be cheaper there's many Variables that Come in to Play on Pricing Vehicle Make Models Year Etc so I cant fully say which is your best option

As a lifelong automobile enthusiast and 31 year veteran North American International Commercial Vehicle Owner Operator and Driver Trainer I am highly impressed... I just wonder if Kantanka has reached the point where they are able to manufacture their own engines... Which is a major achievement that many global auto makers, and for many years, virtually all North American Commercial Vehicle Manufacturers, were not able to accomplish for nearly a Century.

He became a Slave /Pastor and so passed the ministry til present today. My roots are in Ashanti which is a Hebrew Tribe . All of the descendants of Abraham moved in to Africa . Its home before the Trans Atlantic Slavery of Africans . Ghana is a great place to learn many of our Hebrew history. As well as many other African countries. Africa is the next center for industry !
