These would be amazing for my desktop given all the connection capabilities. Some great additions would be the desktop stands and the subwoofer.

I dig the sports car red finish. I'd bet adding a small sealed subwoofer would make a killer 2.1 music system.

I need something for a small room (12x15x9). These look great bur hearing them called "computer desktop" repeatedly makes me uneasy. Wife works from home (upsairs) so I have a small room downstairs for my music. I love it LOUD but i'm having awful turntable feedback with my huge Cerwin Vega speakers so I need to do something. Just had my 65th. and want to catch up playing my hundreds of albums from the 70's-80's.

Have the A5+'s on the way and am curious how you would compare them to these? Seen arguments for both speakers but this is my first set of desktop speakers so I am sure I will enjoy either and not notice small differences in sound quality.

Would you recommend a kanto YU4/6 over a soundbar of the same price for a 77Inch TV considering the only way to.connect is via Bluetooth? So codecs such as DTX etc won't be available?

More of a commercial than a review in many regards. Looked into these but opted for Airpulse A100's more than a year ago; look just as good, have a USB input for a lossless digital input, very good built in DAC, audiophile grade design and mats, so awesome sound quality especially when paired with a sub. Costs a little more but imo a huge upgrade over these.

The Airpulse A100 looks like a great speaker, but it is almost double the price of the YU6. It is more in line with the Kanto TUK, another very good powered speaker. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Is 4.0 Bluetooth? Its too old right?

4.0 will be fine for audio but won't be great for playing back videos as the lip sync may be off.
