The fire and strength in their performances, they're all riding the same wave of passion and it's difficult not to admire it. The world needs to learn more from New Zealanders to keep cultures alive as they have done so well doing.

So I came across the Haka on youtube im just a country gal living in Texas, I have Native American blood in my family and things like this has always got my attention. I have such deep respect for the native people, there is a fire deep with in my soul when I watch things like this.. I can't understand the words but the feeling and passion they put into this you don't need to understand the words, its beautiful and magical.. I want to go there and just learn the ways of their people. Walk the path they have walked just by watching them.. Deep respect to them..

@Tj Z bro what are you on about. if you wanna be that technical, then we're all natives to Africa. but we ain't. Maori are the indigenous people to New Zealand. Indigenous meaning "originating or occurring naturally in a particular place; native." Therefore they are native to new Zealand. I dont care what you say or have to say, but telling people Maori aren't natives to New Zealand is a load of crap. I know I might be over reacting, but my people fought for the right to be identified as New Zealand's indigenous people. they have gone through so much, been through so much. SO dont go telling people incorrect stuff g! its cool how much research you've done, but its irrelevant to this lady's very moving and touching comment.

@Tj Z sorry mate, you talk about being destructive. White people have killed billions upon billions since the beginning of time and still do. White man created weapons of mass destruction. White man only, has used nuclear bombs on other nations. White man spread disease throughout the world. White man started 18 of the last 20 wars and some have been on going for decades, Afghanistan and Iraq to name a couple. White man is still trying to start wars with Iran and Venezuela so don't spit that shit out you wanker.

@Tj Z I feel sorry for you my son. Doesn't really matter because from what you say is we're all Africans including yourself. The thing is I'm ok with that, are you?

O haka era tbm usado como grito de guerra pelo povo maori, as caretas, olhos arregalados e língua pra fora funcionava como um método de intimidação contra os inimigos
