I was in Kween District/Kapchorwa last year and witnessed the athletes first hand. I was very impressed with the training and dedication of the athletes doing their routines every day. One stopped and talked to us one afternoon after doing hill repeats and it was very cool being able to talk to him. I wish the Uganda running teams the best!

I am no athlete now but I want to be positive like them in where I am so that I can do some thing for my people one day. Thank u kiprotich and cheptegei

It is all about the philosophy, if you follow it, whatever field you are in, you will succeed. Please watch Eluids Oxford Union talk, it inspired me! I got all A*s in my A-Levels in Maths Further Maths and Physics and now I am going to train in Oxford as an engineer. I was terrible at maths but always wanted to be an engineer, Eluid's talk changed my life, please watch it! All the best Solimo and God's speed!

Well done keeping your faith in Jesus you will all achieve your goals. As Ugandan we are proud of you all and your community. I think completion in primary schools should be brought back in Uganda. And the country encourage development of talented children to grow and make Uganda proud as you people have done. Karomajo people if taught and encourage Uganda can produce world first class long jumpers and hurdles . May God blessed you all Ugandan heroes

I'm always amazed by the raw documentaries that NN is putting out there! To me, it perfectly demonstrates that a simplified lifestyle CAN equal great success & positive influence. Also: Can anyone tell what "style" of music - I assume it's something rural - was playing towards the end of this video? I'm absolutely in love with it!

Making music together...the steps of the heartbeat improving. Spiffy Nike jackets...nice to know Nike heps out. Exposure to the healthy sport and maybe competitive. Good stuff! As an older runner...I remember when Mexicans dominated often in the marathon. Ugandan has persevered over a lot and why not run sport~Good Luck! Practice Passion for the sport.
