Kapit Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig (KBPIP) is ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation's river rehabilitation project. Launched on February 24, 2009, the project began with the redevelopment of one of the dirtiest waterways in Metro Manila, the 2.9-kilometer Estero de Paco. The idea behind this approach is that the clean-up efforts will be futile if the esteros draining into the Pasig River is not rehabilitated as well. The ripple effect of cleaning Estero de Paco was profound. The Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission, together with other government agencies, has now taken on the "esteros-first" approach and with the partnership of KBPIP, is now taking on 16 more esteros in Metro Manila and have current plans to begin the rehabilitation of Pasig River and Manila Bay.

napakaganda po ng mga ginagawa nyong project..sana hindi lang pasig river..sana buong ka Maynilaan..maging malinis narin..para naman di tayo laging nilalait ng ibang bansa..nasa ating mga pilipino ang pag unlad ng ating bansa..hindi lang sa gobyerno natin inaasa lahat..kung hindi tayo mismo rin dapat kumilos!congratulations po sa inyong lahat..MABUHAY PO KAYO..

Yan ang galing ng Ilog Pasig sa buong Kalakhang Maynila na huwag munang paulit-ulit na pagtapon ng basura mula ngayon at ang mga bahay na masisikip na parang iskatwer na wala na at nagiba na ngayon mula ngayon at maging malinis na ay hindi marurumi ang ilog ngayon at magbago pa rin ang bukas at magbago pa rin para sa bayan na may hinahahangad ko sa iyo. 1. Maruming Ilog maging Malinis. 2. Pagtapon ng Basura sa Ilog maging Malinis. 3. Bahay-Iskwater na manira sa Ilog maging Nagiba. 4. Patay na ilog noon maging Malinis na ilog ngayon. 5. Tagumpay sa lahat ng estero at Ilog Pasig ay malinis at ibalik ang ganda ngayon na bawal na magkalat ng basura na itapon mula noon hanggang ngayon na maayos na kanyang pagliligtas at ayos na at ang iskwater na giba na ay hindi makabalik at magbago na sa ngayon ay ayos na ayos.

Ang ilog pasig ay isang malaking pusali na mabaho dapat ang sinumang makitang magtapon ay makulong at maglapastangan sa ilog! Masarap tingnan ang ilog na malinis at may isda may iba lang talagang mga tao ang dapat ibaon sa lupa dahil walang pakialam sa ilog!

I'm so happy to see this river back to life, i hope that those irresponsible people who used to threw their garbage in to that river felt soo bad that make them regret what they have done, and that make them think twice before they drop any piece of garbage again.

Isa talaga sa dapat maglinis dyan yung mga nakatira kasi syempre sila din nagkakasakit tapon dito tapon don. Supporta ng gobyerno kailangan para madisiplina mga tao.Maganda Pasig basta malinis lang para mawala rin masangsang na amoy.

Hindi ko alam ano meron, pero kapag kinumpara mo ang pasig noon sa ngayon eh maiiyak ka na lng talaga sa lungkot. I am now 28 y/o at sana bago man ako maging senior citizen o bago mamatay eh makita ko man lang sana ang pasig river na malinis. hayss.

Yes let that old Filipinos spirit alive again. Kapit bisig "BAYANIHAN." To see Pasig at it's best. Since it is a very historical river why not build some kind of food stalls along the river banks for family outings..some kind of recreational facilities. Just only a suggestion.

Hindi din sila ang nagumpisa ng paglilinis, may mas nauna pa jan during FVR, pero dapat naaanalyze din natin na cleaning ilog Pasig isn't enough to stop the pollution in the river and manila bay, it was only the latter administration ang nagpatupad ng paghihigpit ng STP usage sa establishments etc. Kaya for long-term yung linis nila, unlike this org. Na dumudumi ulit yung nilinis, pangshort term kumbaga. But this one was a good start tho.

Dapat yong Ilog namin sa Dau, mabalacat city maging malinis din para muling mabuhay mga pako, at isda , susu. Gising mga official ng mabalacat city government.

sa bawat balikbayan ko, puro private na problema ang na to touch sa damdamin ko pero, nang makita ko ang karamihan ng pagbabago sa sa mga Vidscam, Na relieve ako at napaiyak na lamang ako sa sarili ko...Its a an effeective na therapy sa mga nanay at tatay at sa mga lola at lolang naububuhay pa... maraming salamat po sa unity at pag support para sa maimis na pamumuhay in and outside manila...

Very simple...get rid of slums, provide garbage bin in every corner. Build a strong affordable housing for the people that live in the Esteros. Most of all Stop pocketing the money that's intended to the river. I live in the mountain of Panay...we have more fresh air, clean roads and rivers than the so called Capital City of the Philippines...Manila. Check out San Rafael, Lemery, San Enrique Iloilo. Way better than your Bagiuo. Wag tayong Dugyot sa ating sariling bayan.

the negligence of the people in the past destroyed it, now everyone is playing catch-up,.....man I remember arriving in manila back in '79 and seeing the slums along the banks,..... needless to say t'was a #cultureshock

Filthy & polluted Pasig River is comparable to the heavy traffic congestion in most places in the Philippines. This is as a result of the lack of respect & discipline of most Filipinos. So sad indeed.
