You know what? I'm recently fully retired and USAF vet and really don't have anything on my bucket list because I've seen a lot of places. But I'll be dipped ... I've got to check out that museum with all those beautiful old school dirtbikes.

I love these two-stroke monsters, my old 2001 Kawasaki KX 500 is still a fearsome monster in Mtwapa Kenya 🇰🇪, squirting out a jet of rocks and sand on every dirt road, but I would love to have a 500cc with six gears, and an electric starter, I'm 34 years old, but it's not always easy to start them because of my knee getting seriously injured in 2015.

You made my day when I saw the blue Yamaha IT 175 in the museum❤ Best memories I have, was all the weekends riding mine with my dad. Trying to keep up with him during bonsai charges through the woods, following the S.E.R.A. arrows tacked to the trees at Enon La. Hair Scrambles. miss my 2stroke motorbike i had it going 50mph on a mountain bike frame i try and settle for cheap builds for fun i was homeless last year but still always kept some type of GAS Ripper the ebikes are cool but nothing compares and i hope we dont ever have to go all electric SOUND THE HORNS📯📯📯🏁🏁

Wow... I've played with a few 2T cylinders and have never seen one quite look that purdy. The shape and design of the exhaust port is beautiful, the huge closed port quad transfers. Even the spark plug insert & decomp, its exciting and looks well done. That aint no AM junk from asia.

There were multiple things that caused the falling of motocross and super cross and one big issue was going to the 4 stroke bikes. They just don’t have the sound and that was important. The other issue is motocross is very unorganized. You win the top 3 and get a trophy but they need a point system set up for riders to have a goal to go after. So many more things that have hurt this sport. We used to be able to ride anywhere and now people won’t let you ride on their land

Finally some smart guys had a good idea. 700 2T and a 500 2T!? Hell yeah! I wish more manufacturers made 2 strokes and I also want to see 2 stroke only classes in supercross.

I was thinking "hmm you'd have to be under sea level to be jetted that fat" Or dead nuts winter cold Alberta or something... I think the ignition was the main issue . I don't see how they would send you it that fat I mean a little fat for some protection if the bike fell into the wrong hands. Maybe of a snowflake...

Ok guys. Here's the deal: I've been wanting to build a 2022 CR500. I was the first to post on one of your CR500 long videos before you were even a GasGas dealer that the BRC was the way to go... counter balance... modern chassis...etc. I've decided to desert my plans on the CR500 and build a BRC 500 Motocrosser! This kit is unbelievable. I just wish the American dollar was with more right now. Im used to like 1.42. Blessings guys.

I had a bored out open class KTM with 70 bhp. It wasn't as fun as my Penton 250. It was a beast, but too much in the woods.

The casting industry is changing so rapidly that, even being in the industry and doing it every day, it’s difficult to stay on top of it!! With additive manufacturing and advanced CAD/CAM technology that allows us to utilize all of the capabilities of the new technology, we can do small-volume casting in HPDC (high pressure die casting), permanent mold or low pressure die casting, investment casting, etc. and be competitive with the sand casting process from a tooling cost standpoint. This is literally only begun to be possible in the last 12 months or so. I would love to discuss the possibility of casting some low production cylinders and/or cases that would incorporate whatever performance modifications you guys would like to see and doing so using a process that yields a much more robust and consistent part that has previously been cost prohibitive. Man when you guys started rapping about honda cr 500"s it brought back and instant memory of when a friend of mine on base at white sands let me try his bike. I twisted the throttle and when that thing came on the pipe I think I saw god! That was back in '73 so I can only imagine what that kit is going to do to that gas gas 300....:-)

The dent in the pipe can be fixed. You first plug up the end and clamp them, and one with nozzle from a truck tube, but I know if they make the clamping nozzle anymore. #1. Use a 90 to a 110 psi. #2. Heat the dent red hot, while tapping the edges with a finishing hammer. Be ready to back out the air if you to have too. You do it on 40 gage steel, but I don't know what gage they use now. Stay clear of the direction of the plugs.

The effort they put behind on keeping two strokes (and just offroad bikes - alive has turned me around from my decades long loyalty to Yamaha. That indentation could be designed to clear the radiator shroud ! It is a tight fit from a 300 to the 500 pipe which requires much more room because of volume . Check it out first before removing it .

Awesome the dent in the pipe is usually there to allow the front wheel to clear the pipe as the forks compress, Kawasaki did that on my KX 420 Circa 1981.

The TPI fuel injection gets nothing but bad reviews-unless youre a hardcore enduro rider...KTM just unveiled their new fuel injected 2strokes 2 days ago which are TBI's-the lastest and greatest 2 stroke technology....unfortunately the GasGas didnt get the updates for 2023, theyre still running the old fuel injection technology....

That pipe is dented in one of the strongest parts of it, so that would take a bit of a hit. Snr having a bit of a Senior moment with the jetting 😁 Just playin.... Love you guys !

When I used to build/ride/wrench and race PWC, Polaris (when still in the game) used the German made PVL CDI's and stators and had a GREAT track record all things considered. Their CDI's and stators could go bad but it certainly wasn't something that you could label "often"! Usually very solid CDI's!! Bitchin' scoot right there!!!

Be sure to get the piston clearance and yah I’m an old guy but some times I would run an extra head gasket, to gain & aid in making a big bore a little more manageable. I also looked to STEAHLY for a heavier fly wheel weight, the added weight would also aid in letting a 250 or larger 300, thru 500 ++ actually hookup instead of just sit there and spin its wheel. Any ways ride until you can’t anymore , then buy a big bore kit & ROCK ON LIKE YOU MEAN IT. KEEP THE RUBBER SIDE DOWN & THE SHINY SIDE UP, AND ALL WAYS, ALL WAYS RUN A NGK GOLD SPARK PLUG & A CEAN AIR FILTER, and. DONT FORGET UNION 76 RACE GAS WITH PJ1 GOLD FIRE PRE MIX , ALSO GET THE-HOLE SHOT !!!!!!😏

GREETINGS JR&SR , the KAPLANs of America i dont know how you guys do it .but some how you manage to top yourselves everytime i click on a new video ...besides who else is there to top? You guys more or less have cornered the market for the most exotic dirt bikes ever!!! Im glad to see you guys taking the GasGas serious . They need a representative just like you guys ..i read up a little on this merger going on with KTM , Husqvarna ,and GasGas ..as the other two build 100s of 1000s and sold every year GasGas build and sell less than 9000 units something like around 85 hundred ..they have never really try to stamp them out with cooky cutters like japan does ..but GasGas spends all their money and time on research and development ...and just step back for a moment and look at what you guys are unboxing ...this is why they dont make so many per year .it looks as good as your 25th anniversary AJ Wagner hand built ..dont be surprised if the big money that took over KTM and Husqvarna dumps big bucks into GasGas to expand and train more people to manufacture more of what we see ..and this video with the dented pipe is a perfect example of why its better to buy one through you guys and allow all the hassles for you guys to salve ...and be sure you make the point that pipe is dented right in the welded seam where the two halves come together ..so it took a pretty hard hit to put a dent in it ...someone back in spain screwed up and didnt tell anyone protecting his job ,boxed it and sent it ..it will be fun to see how this turns out , cross your fingers as they may let you keep the dented pipe ...and kaplan calm down about the maico ...the cdi magic box aint shit ..but here again it is a good thing it happened at your house instead of mine...and a little reminder and lesson learned ..from now on no matter what elevation mountains or sea level where ever you guys find a cherry two stroke check the jetting before you ever try to start it up ..you dont know what these yawho's out here will do , as everyone of them have different ideas of how a two stroke engine operates...and after its agreed everything is ready ..you have a mega buck dyno-jet with an air/fuel ratio gadget that will show you if its going to blow or go ..start using it ...i know you guys are little kids in a candy store ever time you get anything new or different .. And who im i to criticize , we all are
