Willfull Misconduct I see that you do not understand what is going on and why Kamilias are promoting Youngji at the moment. Each idols (including KPOP groups) has her/his own set of fans. KARA lost 2 members along with part of their fans. The remaining KARA3 will not magically gain new fans, not as many as they have lost. Supporting Youngji doesn't mean Kamilia forgot about KARA3. KARA3 are trying hard to promote Youngji too. Kamilia was strong because of our numbers, but not now, not anymore. We need to back each other up for the benefit of KARA and Kamilia. So stop bickering and get with the program.

I personally disliked Kara since I first started listening to Kpop years ago, but over the years it has melted away into more of a neutral affinity for the group. You see if they will retain the same popularity when they make their comeback in Japan. That will be the biggest indicator whether this new Kara will survive or not. Personally, I dont think youngji will be able to catch up - how do you expect her to be Japanese fluent in a matter of months whereas the others have already years of experience under their belt. What makes Kara special is the fact that everybody adds a certain element from Gyuri to Seungyeon to hara to Nicole to Jiyoung, what can youngji add in terms of value? Kara is already a mature girl group, I dont think fans will go thru the process of trying to re adapt to new faces in the group. I blame DSP for this predicament. Aside to DSP - Dear Ms Lee, if you are not capable of running DSP pls stand aside instead of ruining the girl groups. Disgusting creature who bloody hell cannot manage the company to save her life.

Firstly, I don't think that Youngji's proficiency in Japanese will affect Kara's popularity because when Kara was first staring to get popular in Japan none of their Japanese was proficient. What I think will the make it or break it for Kara is if Youngji can prove that she has skill and talent that will coordinate with what Kara already has. Secondly, what do you mean by value? Do you mean value as in Kara's skills musically or something that will make her stand out in the in the group?

Most SNSD members also cannot speak Japanese fluently, but fans still accepted them, so I do not see that as a problem. When Nicole and Jiyoung left, fans just blame DSP to justify their biases leaving. Watch KARA ComebackShowcase and you will see Youngji singing many high notes for KARA's older songs. This is where she was recruited for in the first place, their old songs.

Let's get one simple thing straight, none of the 3 forms this group has had now has or ever will be the same. Personally i have grown attached to the Kara 5, and therefor to me Kara is dead. To me this is a new group, yes indeed with the same name and 3 of the same members but to me this is not the Kara i have grown fond of. I have been supporting Kara since their debut, and yes i was sad to see Sunghee leave, But as a Kamillia i kept supporting them and they came back as a new group, The kara 5 which is and always will remain my favorite group all together. Now as for cherishing the new Kara 4 yes indeed with some time they will be, i mean 3 of the former group members are still there and they all have insanely high popularity ratings, so in the end i do not think popularity or acceptance will be an issue once they really get going again. As for this song it is a good song/album to start with again, good for a strong comeback as "a new group". As for Youngji she will be accepted in no time. Simply because the Kamillia will always support Kara, and Youngji is now a part of the new Kara. knn211 As for what Youngji can add or offer to the group, time will tell i guess. And as for the whole DSP media heisa, everyone or pretty much everyone knows and blames them for the departure of Nicole especially. and ofc it is not only Kara that has been suffering under DSP Media's management. However without DSP backing Kara up after their first album flopped, they would have never become this great group we have all come to love. And let's be real, in the world of K-pop or J-pop most agencies are pretty horrible for their artists. I mean just to name one is ofcourse the other well known Agency "SM Town". karaharagu It is quite commenly known that Nicole has never recieved the same treatment as other members, ofcourse the fact that she was at first not as comfortable as the other members being on a tv shows as guest all by herself was a great deal in this matter. However after being together 7 years as a group it is clear to see that Nicole has far out had the least opportunities to have any solo appearances. And this is even though after she did all her tv appearances and grew into getting comfortable with them. In fact Nicole getting on a few shows in the end even got her on the sunday evening show as a common guest. DSP should have really played more into her popularity and give her more solo appearances and such opportunities. Also it is a shame that DSP would not allow Nicole to stay with Kara under a different agency as that is what she offerd DSP to stay with the group and keep working and promoting with them but under a different agency. Obviously DSP blunt refused her offer and so she was forced to leave, it is not just an excuse to blame DSP here. They did in fact have a huge deal to do with Nicole leaving. As for Jiyoung i don't know much about her situation or problems with DSP or not, obviously she just wanted to go study, however she is now signing to become an actess in Japan as far as i know of. Now indeed it is not fair yet again to completely blame it on DSP here because as mentioned before, Kara would have never grown this big without them. it was infact Mr Lee who gave Kara a second chance after their first album flopped, so there is some positive things to say aswell. Thing is just that DSP has shown themselves in the media as this scandal of an agency after all the reports of poor treatments and all the lawsuits against them, which is why everyone shows so much hate/disgust towards the company. Anyway i think i said my thing, obviously oppinions differ and that is a good thing or the world would be such a boring place now wouldn't it be.

shane labots You should know that Nicole is still not fluent with her spoken Korean. That alone discouraged many offers for her. Furthermore, she already admitted herself that she has a phobia for variety shows - she was being laughed at, not because she was witty, but because people think that she was clueless. She was also nicknamed "Airhead Sisters" with Secret Han Sonhwa in Invincible Youth. Everyone knew that Nicole is a very sensitive person, and I am sure she hated being seen as clueless. Who doesn't? The lawsuit in 2011 was a misunderstanding between KARA and the CEO's wife. When KARA received US$3,000 each after they returned from their Japanese promotions, they thought that was all the money they were getting for it. Hence the lawsuit. However, they were later told that the promotion payments will only be made 3 months later which amounted to US$1 million which was divided by 5 (US$200,000 each for Japanese promotions between Jan to June 2010). That was probably why Goo Hara withdrew from the lawsuit. The other reasons for the lawsuit were, DSP was accepting assignments without KARA's consent, and also, they did not prepare enough staffs for the Japanese promotions (all these are the faults of the managers). There is nothing sinister about what happened there. But people are still using this against DSP. Nicole did not renew her contract when the other members did, means that she already had something else in her mind much earlier. She said if DSP and KARA members do not agree with her suggestions (of being a KARA member but not signed with DSP, so that she is free to do her solo gig) she will leave. She was suggesting that she only do some schedules and leave out others to do her solo gig, which DSP and KARA find impossible. For endorsements and sponsorships, KARA has a quota to fulfill as a group - KARA has to be prepared to go for photoshoots, commercial shoots or live appearances at the request of these sponsors. Missing any of these schedules can mean a lawsuit by the sponsors. My question is, which is more important to Nicole? Her wanting to go solo, or KARA? She chose to go solo. In another word, she abandoned KARA. That is why many Kamilias are unhappy with her. For Jiyoung, she could be tired of the daily routine of an idol, which is non-stop practices, diet and very little sleep. Because of that, nobody can blame her for leaving. Finally, you are saying the remaining 3 members are not KARA anymore, but for me, the remaining 3 are the real KARA members. And the remaining Kamilias who are still supporting KARA are the real Kamilias.

If you are going by the comments, that's great support, but it's only emotional support. Goo Hara is not KARA original member. The original member are Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Kim Sunghee and Jung Nicole. In 2008 Kim Sunghee left and replaced by Goo Hara & Kang Jiyoung.

when you watch their live performances, like KARASIA 2013, you see they really do love the fans. they give back as much to the fans as the fans give them. You can see by Kamilia comments, since they dis-banded, that they are special. Nobody likes their group to disband but KARA fans are wounded waaayyy deeper! we all just straight-up love those girls! They took us to places that no one else has the directions to.

They recognized how much Japan loves them and they actually get teared-up about it. KARASIA 2013 was the last time K-5 would perform together and the fans were just freaked out in Japan. The girls would literally be crying by the time they got to the last performance. It's just such an over-the-top out-pouring of affection between the KARA girls and their fans. If you've ever been to an American concert, you know our performers are nowhere near that devoted to their fans. In fact, they usually act as if the fans are "lucky" to be seeing them.
