Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY , we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

As a retired long haul trucker, I have to say that this is one of the least offensive videos on trucking I've seen. To their credit, they ask reasonable, intelligent questions, genuinely seeking to understand the driver's life. For a tiny, encapsulated view of life on the road, this is a really good video. And the Iowa 80 trucks top really is one of the best. I used to stay overnight there regularly.

My wife worked in the trucker’s showroom until she decided to retire. She met a lot of truckers during her years there and she really enjoyed her job. If you come back this way, be sure to stop during the annual Truckers Jamboree, which is usually held during the week after Independence Day. If you really want to see some nice trucks, this is the event to attend and many of the truck drivers will let you in their trucks for an inside viewing. I found you two through watching Kinging-It and Eamon & Bec....all I can say is WOW! You two deserve a show on the Travel Channel! You showcase wherever you are so well, as well as being so open and positive no matter what you're doing. I'm hooked. So adventurous, so informative, so well spoken, so respectful and diverse! I love how you can be on a dream vacation in the Maldives one minute and then right here enjoying the world's largest truck stop in the USA the next. Incredible, be so proud of what you are doing! I'm a fan :)

My best friend is a retired truck driver from many years ago. She was an amazing roommate. Gone three weeks out of the month and she paid full rent. She had a custom sleeper cab. It was so awesome. This was a great video and brought back many memories. Sounds like Iowa 80is the Disneyland of Truck stops. Thanks for sharing.

As an OTR driver, I stop at Iowa 80 all the time. This place is absolutely awesome, it's a truckers paradise. The restaurant has some of the best food on the interstate. It's truly an amazing place for truckers and pretty much anyone who's even interested in trucks. I love what I do for a living, greatest job in the world. 7 years and I've gotten to see 48 states. You guys should go to the other Iowa 80 properties. They are as follows: I44 Petro in Joplin Missouri, I70 Petro in Oak Grove Missouri (right outside Kansas City) and I95 Petro in Kenley North Carolina. All are really great truck stops and all have something unique to see. Awesome video.

Boy oh boy does that bring back memories. In my first ever long haul run I took a load from Ontario, where I live, to California. I had lots of time, so I headed right for the Iowa 80 and spent the whole weekend there. Watched a lot of movies, great meals, and a haircut to boot. The main building hasn’t changed that much since I was there in the late 90’s, but I don’t remember the museum. Loved this episode in particular.

As someone who is the son of a trucker, it is so cool seeing them get excited at the smallest things, like finding a fridge in the truck, and all the buttons and knobs. And the unfortunate reality, is that the truck driver, Nate, is right. Truckers are gone for an extended period of time. My dad is gone 5-6 days a week and he has never been home longer than a week unless it was for a vacation, or an injury he got on the road. I have been on a day route with him, and it is no picnic, and I can truly say I earned a newfound respect for it. And I am glad to see them get so excited over it

oh my god this makes me so happy and nostalgic :( my dad used to be a truck driver and he had the whole bunk bed and fridge set up, and i’d travel with him sometimes on my school breaks and stuff. it was always so incredible, especially when i could just sleep in bed all day, but riding around in those tall ass seats was always so much fun. this really made me miss that and i hadn’t thought about that part of my life in so long. love this video!!
