Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this KZfaq channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

We can't thank our "Georgian parents" enough for the kindness and hospitality they showed us while welcoming us in their home. We weren't there for more than a day, but the impact they had on us was huge. There are SO many GOOD people in this world. We were lucky enough to get to stay with two of the best ❤️❤️ Hope you all enjoy this silly video 😁🍷

I've been to georgie this summer, i did a roadtrip. I can comfirm this is the average georgian. Georgians are the NICEST people in the entire world, they always want to help you and always want to share their homemade wines with you!

3 minutes in and this is hands down your best vlog by miles! And it's all because of your hosts! Some people dream of yacht and private jets, I dream of a quiet country side farm with a happy family, animals, blooming plants, waterfalls, hills and mountains all within the farm. Damn...I'm just 29, people think I'm crazy but anyway, I'm a robotic and automation engineer so I will probably live in big cities and put up with traffics, noise and all the crap till it's too late to enjoy a life like the one I fancy!!!

One of the best videos to date. Your hosts were so amazing, I was honestly sad to see you guys leave them. I went to look for an Airbnb link in the description and didn’t see one and i felt very relieved rather then disappointed. These precious people need to be protected at all costs so that they don’t end up being taken advantage of by people who won’t have any appreciation for the love and care they give. You can tell they absolutely love hosting young people. Such a great interaction because you guys left with a genuine, kind Georgian experience and they got to be young again by spending time with you guys. This was the last vlog I had left in my 2 months of binge watching and it was the perfect one to end on. I was smiling throughout the whole thing.

Really appreciate how the hosts went above and beyond in ensuring that your stay was a blast! To the point of facetiming the son to explain the dishes in English- Wow! Very few hosts would have such immaculate attention to detail! Despite language barriers, there is great Georgian hospitality and the food looks yummy!

I think the most important in travelling is make YOUR OWN OPINION ❤️ don’t follow blindly the stereotypes and general public opinion. I got hit by a surprise so many times in the least expected moment, Iran being the most spectacular so far.

Someone asked me an hour ago how I manage to communicate with people when I travel somewhere I don't speak the language. This is exactly the kind of travel experience I love and all it takes is an open mind, lots of smiling, laughing, hand gestures and a bit of google translation! Breaking through language barriers can be challenging but also so rewarding. I spent a month with a woman in Venice that didn't speak English. Almost all our conversations were about the cat she was petsitting. Now I know a lot of cat-related Italian words. It's also amazing how much you can understand just from context.
