One day, the elderly mother will need her daughter and grandchildren, and if I were the daughter, I would not be there for the elderly mother. The elderly mother will reap what she sows!!! Who in the world would ever call their children dirty names and harm their chldren or grandchildren. This elderly mother put men over her daughter. Shameful behavior from the elderly mother!!!

That's tough to say if it was fake or not, you see how she carried on in the beginning I'd say she would of rode that out til the end if Karamo didn't step in. Think about what brought her to apologizing, it wasn't Karamo calling her out saying she's the problem or she's a bad mom, he told her something along the lines of "when does someone ask you how you're feeling?" then she opened up like a book. Don't get me wrong, I'm SOOOOOO for ditching your parents if you need to so you can heal or break the cycle but it doesn't mean they don't love you deep down in their hearts. I believe that version of the mother that said sorry was her young self, the version when she was just as vulnerable as her daughter dealing with the same think she's putting her daughter through.

The mother is absolutelyevil. Did anyone see at the 14:00 mark when Karamo asked when she was crying, and she said because the mother never said sorry before and the mother rolled her eyes.... Girl leave your mother right where she stands and go heal. Every relationship isn't meant to be fixed..
@Mannymoe3

I'd say leave her if need be. I believe the mother was triggered because for once in the mom life by talking to Karamo it was about her and someone cared to understand her then the daughter comes back on stage with energy of, "mom I"m hurting I need you". Not saying the daughter is wrong though not at all, she didn't have a healthy mother figure most her life so it's only natural. Single motherhood is a selfless job and it's a lot of mothers that don't have someone to actually look after them emotionally damn near up until the day they die. Again not saying she shouldn't ditch her mother but I believe she should learn to forgive her.

Such an evil ass woman! She's gonna die alone and lonely, just rotting. Not a sole will help her when she's old and needs help because of how she acts. I feel so bad for the daughter and i hope she doesn't continue this trauma for another generation. I can't imagine how hard it is to deal with a "mother" like this.

Karamo has the calm of 100 Buddhist monks. No matter how outrageous his guests get, he remains completely serene. I don’t know how he does it. I thought maybe the mom was a narcissist. Turns out she’s full of hurt, frustration, stress, and lashes out. Hurt people hurt people. I don’t think I could trust her. She is willing to go as low as possible to hurt her own child. She does need counseling. Not to mention she believes this is normal behavior. Ma’am I’ve never called my daughter a B word.
@Mannymoe3

Yeah Karamo broke her down like no other with just "understanding" her feelings. When that mom said sorry in this video it was the version of her that use to be vulnerable, probably the version of her after the first time her mom called her a b word too. That mom probably been just going through the motions ever since that day and it must of been a hell of a shock for Karamo to say, "When do they ask you how you're feeling?".

You want/need that from your mother but who is giving that to her because she likely needs it also. You are absolutely right to want that from your mom but single mothers become numb after a while through their selflessness of raising kids sadly that is hard to overcome. Not saying you or anyone doesn't care because we would die for our mothers in a hearbeat for sure but they still need to feel vulnerable, feminine, and submissive time to time.

MOTHERS AND FATHERS. My father is a baby boomer, and he is messed up. He's so angry and can be extremely mean. He doesn't think he is ever in the wrong. He only will apologize when he needs me, and he repeats old habits that he "apologized" for previously. I love my dad, but he drives me crazy. If the Mom is reading this, I see that you are a truly sweet Lady who faces adversity and built a layer around protecting your younger self. Let that go! Embrace love. You are Blessed with successful children who gave you grandchildren. Some people don't and will never be Blessed like that. I love how you melted in your one on one with Karamo and showed your vulnerability. That is your superpower and your vulnerability healed your Daughter in less than 5 minutes. Yo the Daughter, God Bless You and all that you have endured and fighting for. The mom obviously has some trauma she needs to heal from. It’s no excuse how she treats her I wouldn’t even wanna have an relationship with my Mother if she’s acting like that. Just look at the mom’s facial expressions during the last segment. I’ve experienced this. Mom’s only crying and getting emotional because she being forced to deal with things that she doesn’t want to deal with and doesn’t care about. The looking up when she apologized…the rolling her eyes when her daughter said that she’s never apologized before…these are clear indicators that mom doesn’t care and is probably never going to care.
