I'm an early subscriber of this channel and Im now starting to notice this tension between these two that is unignoreable which was not there in the beginning of the channel. I'm worried they might split in the future. You could see the reaction of korbin when rick is on the phone around 8:30 korbin seems really annoyed and also this is not the first time we are seeing rick on the phone during the reaction itself.

I am not hater I love karan but I didn't like second half as much as I loved the first half. I didn't love it as much as I loved Kuch kuch Hota h. Second half went Indian daily soap Masala than quintessential bollywood masala

And also Alia Ranveer and Karan each have a fanbase. Karan has been on the recieving end of such vicious trolling and abuse that I was praying this to be a hit and an answer to the loudmouthed haters. I watched the movie on the release day. And I found that even though I didnot like the movie straightaway, I gave it 4.5/10, it stayed with me. I would give it 7 out of 10 today.

Cinema being relatable is very overrated. I don't relate to Star Wars, LOTR or Dune, but I enjoy them immensely regardless.

Neither we relate the story nor the emotions, no one talk like those dialogues and behaves like the characters in real life as per my knowledge when the movie making in a social drama genre. I am also not an NRI. What I am trying to say is there is no belongingness u can feel while watching it.

Karan Johar has made some of the most influential and commercial films in Indian cinema since the 2000s, so there is certainly relatability for the majority of family based audience. I personally don't like his old work, but he is a talented director, and a more talented producer. Rocky Aur Rani is one of the most relatable films he has ever put out, I've seen all these characters in real life and felt a lot of these conflicts and had these fights. So yea, most indians have always related to his films, that's why he got popular in the first place. And people do act like the characters in his films, and his dialogues are always quoted. You don't seem to know the real India. Again, I don't even like most of his films, but to say that Indians don't relate to his films is a lie, he defined commercial Bollywood for over a decade, and is making even better films now, the reviews speak for themselves, but also the Box Office proves what most people feel.
