Audience have rejected nepos like arjun kapoor, aditya roy kapur, sara, janhvi, ananya still instead of respecting audience taste, these nepos r given projects after projects and shoved down our throats. Not just that even though audiemce stopped watching their films as is evident by the disastrous BO numbers of films like Mili, the insiders with tgeir paid PR print fake news articles of critics praising their performances. So the "success" that u percieve of them isnt organically givrn by audience but a very carefully crafted PR exercise

But in films these starkids say they too have their own set of struggles..blah..blahh after getting everything on a platter. Atleast in companies even though u get in through referrals if u dont perform well u b thrown out..whereas in films flop ppl like arjun kapoor have been getting roles till this day, a paid PR doesnt work for u in ur company to create false perceptions about u that u r successful but it happens so in films. Every other field has to give importamce to merit beyond a certain degree of nepotism but in films u keep oj surviving till eternity through nepotism

Now this is just an atrocious thing to say and compare. Those 10 ppl who r insiders arent on the same level of prevulege as the 400 outsiders. The 400 ppl are just technicians, crew who get paid meagre salaried but the few 10 ppl who r industry peeps are the top tier folks who walk away with bigger pay cheques. @@juniorbeings a lawyer's son becomes lawyer , a doctor's son becomes doctor not overnight but after putting in years of study to get a degree which is the same for an outsider too. An actor's kid can become an actor overnight after a few phone calls and networking. U dont go into an operation theatre one day and perform operations just ivernight bcoz u r the hospital owner's son. An outsider and a doctor/lawyer's son has to give the same entrance exam, study the same degree, pass the college and only then they become a doctor or lawyer. Comparing actors nepotism to lawyers or doctors is dumb AF. Even in politics thoigh there is blatant nepitism there is still some accountability to the public, for e.g u can be thrown out of power if ur party doesnt perform well, all the senior politicians in ur party should agree to the son of a C.M to be the next C.M. And mostly in politics too the son cant just walk in and become a C.M after his father. He atleast has to serve as an M.P for some yrs and only then he can claim that right..but madame janhvi/sara/alia freshly passed out of high school and are working as heroines in top tier films.. Even in a business company, the chairman cant appoint his son as M.D without the approval of board of directors but in films they arent answerable to anyone. They get their kids chances as hero/heroine and even if they fail they ll have another string of films ready. Atleast 20 yrs ago, the public had some power in their hands and if their films flop, they wouldnt get chances again like fardeen khan, tushar kapoor...but these days with the advent of OTT, studios funding films, paid PR, fake BO reports..even a flop film is being marketted as hit to create a false image of bankability of the actor...thats why the recent nepos who r flops r still in the business unlike previous generation nepos. A system with zero accountability to the public is bound to have extreme degrees of nepotism as they arent answerable to anyone.. So plz stop comparing nepotism in acting to other professions where merit has still some role to play.
