I've watched a few engine room tour videos, and this one was the best. Your engineers gave good explanations. And I could hear them. Much better doing the tour when the ship's main engines are shut down. Really excellent work, all three of you!

Very enjoyable. Good with the input from the engineers. Your videos are so much more polished now. The content is a wonderful insight into life on board. I love mechanical things. And ships engineers certainly have a very varied skill set. More so than probably any other engineer out there. You can't phone a friend in the middle of the ocean to pop round and help out. I would love to learn the workings of a big ship. But working in the engine room below deck when the engines are up and running is super noisy and super hot. And the ship is moving. Not for everyone or me. Worth the wait for this release.

As I’ve said before the scale and complexity of each system and subsystem vital to the vessel’s daily operation is so interesting. I’m sure there are a lot of sailors who might read this and be like what’s so interesting about this. It’s only an engine room.

That was really fascinating. You showed us where the ship's heart beat is...and it has so many layers!!! A mechanical engineer's paradise if you ask me!!! Towards the end there was a fresh water purifier shown. Is this the one where sea water is converted to fresh water? I would really love to see more of how it is done. Really enjoy all your videos. Never seen anything like this before. These parts are usually closed off for general public even if they happen to travel on a ship.
