Everyone who hosts SNL is a celebrity. Obviously. They’re all famous. But every so often they get a true elite of the elite host who exists in such rarefied air that they are almost peerless. Out of all of those people they’ve ever had who participated in every sketch we’ve ever seen, for my money this sketch with Mick Jagger is far and away the best. Not only is it hilarious. But he nailed it. I’ve always liked his music obviously. But this just made me love and respect him even more. He totally killed it.

We uses to have a Vizsla that would sing the "Woo-woos!" She'd talk and tell you what she wanted. Answer questions. No joke. Also had a lab who knew The Doorknob Principle. On knob doorknobs w INWARD doors. Labs are only dumb when they DON'T care to do something. L

On Kristin Wigg's last show the last skit was made into a graduation ceremony and all the members of the cast danced with her. The first person to dance with her was Mick Jagger. Imagine, dancing with Mick Jagger to their tune "She comes in colors."

The skit s not about mocking Jagger, it's about mocking people who do impressions of him in such an exaggerated and over the top way and the ones who think it's EXACTLY right. That's why the added the sleeping at the mic and the other completely non-related stuff.

What was great for me, is that I didn't realise that was Mick for the first minute or two. At first I was like, "Oh, who's this? Must be a comedian, cos he has great comic timing & delivery." It was only once the impersonations started that I started thinking, "Now hang on...!"
