@@elvisrealking 'no style' meant he really didn't know any style, and then preached a combination of styles. Which he didn't know. And mixing styles has actually been done for thousands of years before him, and in his time by others. He just hilariously didn't know that, nor about the mixed martial artists of his day, and the styles that were being practiced in his day and before that that are literally mixed martial arts. You thinking a noob saying nonsense things is genius only proves you're a noob that believes in nonsense. Lee's only credit is that he popularised martial arts to the masses a little faster than it was already happening. That being said he was very far from the best promotor of it because of what I just told you. If he had been interested in really becoming a great martial artist instead of a narcissist, he would have gone through the motions of actually attaining a decent level in at least 1 full contact martial art. Instead he just stuck to some basic techniques and no experience and claimed he was a great fighter just because he made martial arts movies (with unrealistic choreography). Mike Tyson didn't know Bruce Lee, and it's insane to even compare the two on any level. MikeTyson is arguably one of the greatest heavyweight fighters ever. Bruce’s technique here shows that he is totally familiar with the human body, even if he is blind..he can see his opponent’s body in his mind, & sense his position even with no visual sight. This is training for combat with a human, but Master Bruce is also likewise trained well for all types of life forms too, able to sense their position & see them in his mind, enough to successfully defend, always. Many Schools if not all Schools of martial arts train for the potential of having to enter combat blind, & with various types of sensory & other physical challenges to face..& overcome, always. This video is misrepresenting what happened in this video. They were merely demonstrating a kung fu trapping exercise, yes with a blindfold, but it was not a challenge or even a fight. Bruce Lee wouldn't have been able to stop people beating him up wearing a blindfold if they really wanted to, this was a demo exercise of a specific wrist-contact technique from Wing Chun. You aren't hitting each other and you're always touching, so you can feel the opponent's movements. My old Ju Jitsu club used to occasionally do some blindfolded demos where nobody was actually just randomly hitting you but grabbing and things like that. We weren't superhuman or even black belts. Bruce Lee was not "superhuman", he was just a really good and creative martial artist who people saw as untouchable because he was the star of heroic kung fu movies. Social media is an endless steaming pile of utter bull and you're all just believing whatever people tell you. It's deeply concerning.

You're thinking of Dan Inosanto. He taught Bruce Philipino martial arts including Nunchuck and Dan had some judo and karate training before Bruce taught him jeet kun do

Bruce not only found 2 headshots immediately, but also stopped short before hitting, he knew the exact position of Taky

I know an O Sensei in his seventies who would still give any fighter a challenge and that’s no exaggeration - Bruce Lee was a phenomenon like he is and the world only knows one of them 👌🏽

Great footage here! It’s so great to see live footage of him that’s not meant for Hollywood. Some don’t see it as fighting and I’ll grant them that, but chi sau contains a lot of those same elements we love in a fight.

This is like losing to a blind folded Magnus Carlsen and him adopting you as a disciple.

Blindfolds are for the ones who are feeling the energy and hearing the opponent, not for seeing. This will give them the edge over people who rely on seeing instead of feeling the energy of their opponent.

He was that good in his DIRECT way even blind folded, I think if Bruce would've lived he would teach us something very valuable, REST IN PEACE LEE.

Why is Taky Kimura doing Wing Tsun's sticky hands if he's a "Karate Grand Master"? That's like a chess grandmaster playing dominoes.

if you clinch before in muay thai you'll know how hard it is to sweep some one like that blind folded and with that fluidity

This is a pleasant change of tone. The Japanese are a very proud group yet here is a Grandmaster, humbling himself. Bruce was like, “let’s see if that’s true.” And then the Grandmaster lost and was willing to be a student again. It’s like everyone was just having fun and no hard feelings throughout. Nice vid.

I remember Mr. Kimura. He's nothing to sneeze at in terms of skill. For Bruce Lee to take him down "blind folded" is beyond skill.
