Karcher Quick connect from Gleem Detailing

After buying my re-con Karcher K4 I wanted to have the best of both worlds & use both the Karcher kit as well as my existing hose & gun so I turned to Gleem Detaining for the solution.

I second that, Gleem are always very helpful and knowledgeable especially when it comes to hoses and fittings which can be a bit of a minefield or silly money elsewhere.

Got an order through from in2detailing today and guess what … included a beanie hat in the order!! Worth every penny and helping charities at the same time can’t go wrong. Thanks for the heads up on this one Martin 👍👍

Keith sounds like a top man. It’s very handy having quick release. Got one for my Karcher k4 compact and made a big difference

I couldn't work without a quick release on the washer nowadays, just so easy

Good one Martin, I did the same with my k4,but did mine through in2detailing, I used the forst citrus pre wash and it's very good best I have used a bit on the expensive side due to being used neat,if get the chance give it a go,have a good week and I'll see you in the next one

Graeme, I don’t even remember being 50 my big 70 is at the end of the year. That means he could be my son. Come to think of it I did hang around Essex when I was a teenager 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hi Martin, nice upgrade to your hose. Great when you can adapt kit for 2 different jobs. My K4 is older than yours and the hose has to be threaded through an aperture in the body of the washer and then plugged in. The connector is in an awkward position too and you need to use a wire clip too to secure the hose. Bit of a faff.

I have the K7 compact which comes with a decent 10m hose. For the car I use with a MTM stubby but like you I have the Karcher gun to do the patio and other bits around the house. Best of both worlds. Now you cab use your old stubby on the K4 so have a like for like comparison, have you noticed a big difference in performance over the K2?

Oh yes Chris, although the k2 did the job & worked well, the k4 is a totally different animal, I am delighted with it mate

Hi mate, I’m in the process of buying a new pressure washer. Every time I mention I’m going to buy a Karcher on any forums or Facebook pages they seem to get really slagged off and they suggest buy this one or buy that one instead. Would your next pressure washer be a Karcher again? By the way I was looking at a k5.

Hello Paul, I have never had any issues with Karcher. My old washer was a K2 that eventually died of old age and my current one is a K4. I have linked a video I did on the change over kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oaqSbKyE1aurhWw.htmlsi=AOWs_QWKEm18E7S9 My experience with washers in the detailing world is that there is a certain amount of snobbery connected with washers (and a few other tools) and if you haven't got the most expensive then yours is crap. I always say it as it is & all I can say is I have never had any issues. So have a look around and get the one that you can afford that suits your needs. There are some really top notch washers on the market but is that what you really want to wash the family car once a week???. I cant fault mine its perfect for me. Hope that helps

@@roberthannigan1744 the gun I have is a Suttner but the sell a couple of makes. Check their site out. They have MTM, Suttner as well as Kranzle and Keith the owner will fit whatever connections you want to fit your set up at home. If you want to speak to him his number is on the site 07803908802.
