Watching Biggs here makes me think how crazy those Rocafella meetings must have been! You’d have Dame with his raw aggression and shrewd marketing ideas, you’d have Jay with his cool wit and creativity trading ideas with Dame, and at the side of the table you’d have Biggs with his calm temperament carefully examining the next plays and sharing his insights.

You definitely won't find anyone like that anymore. People are mixing with their friends enemies and calling it business. Now they'd call it dickriding but back then that's what loyalty looked like. Principles and loyalty before anything else that's why I hate when people talk all that money over everything. Yeah we're about this money but principles and loyalty first. That's why I like Jays circle. Biggs, Emory, Ty and the rest of them. It's very rare to find crews or group of friends like that anymore

Anybody coming of age in NYC in the late 80's understands how very real Biggs version of their story is...... a LOT of guys making real street paper wanted to mature into legally acceptable business men the way Biggs Dame and Jay-Z did. They are the most public and most memorable ones. Love it.

I love watching these type of interviews cuz it brings game so much nostalgia. But in this video i was getting a little jealous hearing these stories and seeing how Gary and Biggs interact cuz i never had type of brotherhood or loyalty with anybody ever, i bet it's such a relief to have someone who you know will hold you down forever and you don't even gotta question it.

If you are watching drink champs to get the best interview and hear question after question being asked and answered this might not be the best podcast to watch for that. Lol. Nore never claimed to be the best interviewerer. He lets us into his relationships with these artists. Thats what i appreciate about this show. Me and my girl make it a date night to watch every drink champs together. We get coronas and some snacks and just watch. I think what keeps bringing us back is nores personality. His stories. We laugh the whole show. And i love teaching my girl stuff she didnt know but heard nore talk about it. Dope fuckin show man. Ill forever be a fan no matter how many times nore cuts someone off. Big Face aint lying, Hov got lyrics. Reasonable Doubt one of the best albums. He descriptions are in extreme detail; each song has a story; every song has 3 verses; his lyrics are like a college professor's. Not knocking the new school, I listen to it, but rap in the 90's was superior.

To me Biggs was getting aggravated cause Gary was telling more info than he wanted people to know esp about his street life days. Biggs has always been quiet & if you look at any recent interviews he’s done since he’s got out he’s only talked about Roc A Fella & nothing more & even then he’ll keep out certain details about Roc A Fella.
