Blue Beetle I honestly don't since it's kind of hard to make me laugh but of course I laugh and some of her laughter does fell genuine but most of the time she laughs she does a Jimmy Fallon laugh so a fake laugh

A lot of performers are incredibly shy in real life. It's like there's a switch when they go from being regular them to being performer them. I'm a professional magician, with severe social anxieties in day-to-day life I'm very quiet, I struggle to do basic tasks myself, I need help going to the shops or doctors appointments and get over emotional in regular conversations but ask me to perform or do a public speaking event I am a completely different person with confidence that I don't have doing regular things.

She absolutely MUST play Ariel in the inevitable live action version of Disney's The Little Mermaid. I mean, we already got Maleficent, Cinderella, Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland, Pete's Dragon and have Beauty and the Beast coming soon... Little Mermaid has to be on the drawing board somewhere and Karen Gillan has just enough bubbly personality mixed with gorgeous appearance that would make her a great choice for Ariel. Right?

I like her, but her personality isn't really bubbly, and she has a deep voice for a girl. Neither was very noticeable in this interview though. But she is very pretty. Don't think she'd make a good Ariel.

I've seen dozens of interviews with her and I haven't noticed a "deep voice for a girl" in any of them, I mean even if she does have a naturally deeper voice, she could always tone it higher for the movie, it is "acting" afterall.

Karen seems so nervous it's adorable. I'm Scottish and I'm so glad that she is doing well, she was great as Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy. Conan needs to know that every man looks good in a kilt, but Karen was wrong when she said a true Scotsman doesn't wear anything underneath a kilt. A true Scotsman wears lipstick under his kilt preferably applied by one of the bridesmaids.

Hard to fathom the idea of anyone making fun of her. She's gorgeous and SO talented. My daughters and I loved her as Amelia Pond in Dr Who and her very different but still brilliant Marvel character. She never disappoints. Fascinating the way she changes accent for her performances.

...she and her laugh are not fake she's just got a lovely eccentric personality and wacky nervous energy. This is from when she was just starting to get to be known in America . Contrast it to now and she's a lot more mellowed out ( although being her she's still charmingly manic ). A very lovely woman 🤗

I was first introduced to her on Craig Ferguson's show. When those two got together, it was hilarious. And then there's that laugh. So gorgeous stem to stern. wow!

Billie Piper was very pretty, Freema Agyeman was very pretty, and Jenna Louise Coleman is a beauty, but Karen's just absolutely stunning. Oh and before anyone asks what about Catheine Tate, she wasn't there as the hot young girl, she was there because she's very funny.

Yeah, and I think that Catherine Tate can be really pretty as well. Billie is really cute, but she isn't as gorgeous - she is down to earth and not perfect. Freema, Jenna, and Karen are so amazingly beautiful - I agree. All of them are charming in their own ways. (I don't like Clara too much but she redeemed herself in the 50th)

I don't doubt it, but they're a bit before my time. Growing up in the States, you usually only got to see Doctor Who late nights on PBS stations that got the rights back in the 70s and 80s. I've been catching up on Hulu Plus but it's going to take a while.

From a European perspective, I often get the feeling that at night shows in America people (both hosts and guests) are expected to spend most of their time laughing histerically at the faintest hint of a joke coming from the other person. It sounds weirdly artificial and scripted...
