Her attorneys are great. However, this judge should be removed from this case. In fact, as a person who has worked in the legal field, and the MA court system all my adult life, I think the case should have been tried in another county. This is unfair to the Defendant, and the victims family. This Judge is bias, she should have recused herself in the beginning. A complaint should be filed in the SJC with respect to the judge, and the prosecutors. What a half assed investigation, which was corruption at its best. This includes Special Agent Higgins who is a disgrace to his profession. This case should be thrown out, starting with the exoneration of Ms Read. What a disgrace to the good people of Canton, excluding the Alberts, the McCabes, and Special Agent Higgins. Especially Jenn McCabe, and Brian Higgins, who lied throughout their testimony. The Alberts are obviously hiding the truth, and the lead investigator Michael Proctor, has made huge errors, including not disclosing his relationships wuth the witnesses etc , let a dignified agency like the FBI investigate these clowns, so that our tax money isn't being wasted. Enough. Free Karen Read.

Anyone with 5 brain cells, the totality of brain cells in each witness...can see clearly...rehearsed testimony, rehearsed lies, purposely botched investigation and long time lapses in evidence collection, not collecting evidence from house as part of this case, not interviewing people, not taking phones, dam..I could go on for 5 pages worth Canton is a dam disgrace and the tax paying residents need it to bring a class action suit against judge, prosecutors, all LE involved and the Alberts in general( all of them) Higgins and Albert, Brian, with Jen, the oldest witch of Salem, imo..are the ones needing lock up..for at least 25 yrs each. Corruption exists but this bunch seem to be guilty of this from many yrs back .this is not the only time but it is the most prominent time

They went to the bar as people do. Then went to the house. Unfortunately Karen killed her fella that night and they have to defend themselves. Pretty sad. Only an evil woman could do that.

I have four grown kids and when they were young all of our parent-friends used to get together and have a party for the kids and we always ended up having an adult party into the night. Anyone who thinks this kid beat up a seasoned police officer at a house, full of police officers and firefighters etc are definitely reaching for something that is not there. as someone who just started following this case last week from watching to trial, everything points to Karen Reed as guilty.

This kid appears to live life with ZERO consequences. NOT GUILTY! Karens attorney is not only a bad a** in the courtroom he is the best I have seen at impeaching witnesses. Not only has he just created reasonable doubt to exonerate Karen, he has done an excellent job at showing us who the real killer likely is. This is beyond a reasonable doubt!!

I hope the defense goes back and reads the testimony Brian Albert’s testimony cuz He said when his wife woke up she said where’s John That was the first thing she said!! Also what about Ubers? You will most likely find these kids take Ubers EXCEPT that night. They all had people pick them up? All had close people pick them up because they can’t control what an Uber driver would say in a court of law.

Amazing how no one can remember anything including how long they've known people, dates, times, who they know, if they attended a wedding, what was said, but are absolutely certain that Karen killed John and that Proctor and Auntie Bev will protect them from justice. Also surprising to hear the prosecutor forgets to claim that there's absolutely no evidence showing that Karen did in fact kill John.

The fact that he refers to the decent as "that guy" just shows how little, if any respect he has or had for John Okeefe, Karen Read, and John's family. He and his over the top dramatic wife, think they are smarter than everyone else. The inconsistencies from both of them just shows how rehearsed or coached their testimony was It was. It was actually very hard to listen to. I hope John Okeefes family is now seeing what most of us are seeing. Karen Read is innocent, what happened was clearly a cover up in which the decedent was brutally beaten up, and not by some 110 pound woman either by hand or vehicle.

The whole case is confusing. If the house party folks all came and went at various times, how in the world would they be able to all conspire to make up a story to cover up a murd*r ? The judge needs to examine the judge in the Jennifer dulos trial . That is an example of a competent judge. This “wolf in judge clothing” acting like she’s trying to even the playing fields cuz she knows the prosecution doesn’t stand a chance. Doesn’t even make them state grounds for objections and doesn’t even think before she responds to the objections . Literally doesn’t stop for a millisecond to consider why they are objecting

Shot gun could mean what you are referring to but, it also means.. Riding passenger as lookout..the term comes from the wagon days. You would have the horse driver for wagon with reins in their hands and you'd have next to them someone looking for trouble of any sort , holding the shot gun.

I have watching much different american trials and true crime things without translating,and have learned very much english. But,word biased was new to me and have come out first time with Karens case and i couldnt figure it out without translating and now i know what it means😅 forgot mention that since 2020 summer started with 90 days fiance,then i found Steve Wilkos show and then came these trials etc😊

I think it was a fight between John and Brian Higgins. I believe John was pissed over the kiss. Brian crossed a line by allowing it. Add in a few drinks and the guys start teasing each other and bantering back and forth . Things can get out of control. John must have fell and injured his head. Starting having a seizure and they initially dragged him outside to blame the snowplows. But surprise surprise Karen came looking for him. That gives all these officers the perfect excuse it’s no longer the snowplow that hit him it was Karen that backed into him instead. Everyone in the house is frantic, they’ve just lost one brother in blue they certainly don’t want to lose another one. They decide to shu Brian Higgins out the door. Instead of going home he goes back to work. Which gives him a nice Alibi. The rest of them clean up the mess! The Albert’s get rid of the dog, they have all the basement floods take. Up and replaced. Because we all know blood will seep into the cracks of the flooring. Just for Good Measure they then sell the house! All the officers that come to the scene know this occurred on another officers property and they fail to do their job as well. They don’t go into the house and investigate either. Not expecting the Alberts(police) to get rid of all the evidence

It's a good thing some of the commenters aren't on the jury. They've apparently already made up their minds as to guilt or innocence somewhat early in the trail, and perhaps even before the trail began. So much for objectivity.

I have been watching alot of the video from this trial....i will tell you this much Pitzi.....this is a farce of a trial.the judge is constantly siding with the prosecution.she isnt even attempting yo conceal the way she is coaching the d.a. this is some weak ass shite i am watching.the defence team is being shot down on cross of witnesses.preatty easy to see that cop and his family are covering for whoever beat mr.okeefe to death.and by the i juries he sustained he may have been pounded on by more than one person that was in that house.the missing dog( not knowing whom they gave her to ) is outlandish.
