My son passed on May 26, 2022 from a car wreck 2 days before his 19th birthday. As a young child I knew God. As I got older I drifted. My Brother, Father, and Mother lost their lives too soon. (My immediate family) These tragedies caused the deep void in me to become even more obvious. I tried all I could to fill this void, drugs, sex, random people, partying, etc., but nothing seemed to work. My smiling face when I was around people would quickly turn to tears wept the second I got home. I would seek Hospitals/rehabs sometimes random people in search of refuge. My search reminds me of a scripture I was to later read: "Why do you go about so much changing your ways? You will be disappointed by Egypt as you were by Assyria. You will also leave that place with your hands on your head, for the Lord has rejected those you trust; you will not be helped by them." - Jeremiah 2:36-37. To God, we are priceless. And to us, He is more than worthy of all our praise! "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of the sand. I've been battling with suicidal thoughts and severe depression for a long time. I've tried telling my parents,but they don't understand. And when they told me to get over it,i felt even worse then i did before. For years i kept everything to myself and promised myself to NEVER tell anyone about my problems in real life. A couple months back i was listening to Forever (Kari Jobe) and this was in the recommended section. I watched it and when it got to th chorus,i started crying my hear out. I've been struggling with my faith and relationship with God for alone time now. But this song has had such an big impact on my life. Just remember that if you're breathing,God isn't done with you. The enemy comes to steal and kill,but if you're just breathing God is still with you and will deliver you from your pain. And when everyone else has left you and betrayed you or your problems are too "messy",remember God is there. "I'm not alone. You will go before me. You will never leave me." God already knows how your life will play out. He knows you more than anybody (even yourself.). Dont worry about tomorrow. Just even today has enough of it's worries. from my own life I know it is a struggle. most of my junior years were hard, some bully's made my life really hard. half of my school life it was like this. my parents raised me as a christian but when I turned 12 years I thaught that God had turned His back on me. I was a nobody and a loser, that was the message I always did hear from others. luckaly my parents gave a stable and safe home and that was all I had. at the age of 15 at a dutch youth conferance I said out loud to God:"If You exist, can you led me feel that you care. without evidence I cant believe!" now I find it shocking that I had the courage to say something like this to God Himself, But God in his loyalty answerd my prayer! At that point the feeling that I had was and is undescibeable. that moment at a instant I was changed, I was depressed and had thoughts to kill my self, now I whis to be with my Saviour and I am thankfull for the live he gives everyday. not that I where holy from that day on, no absolutly not! when I turned 17 a 18 years I started drinking I had nothing better to do, also did struggel with a lot of insecurities. I still didnt liked who I was, I did know that God cared but it was always from a distance. I gratuated from my study as a teachers assistent. and went futher with a theological study to teach religion on highschools, that went bad because of my dyslexia(words and letter blindness). I couldnt read fast enough to keep up. that was also a slap in the face because my dream went broke again. then I went to a dutch Bibleschool and there God changed me further, the emotions witch I had stop to grow in started again and quickly. as a crown I met my girlfriend and she says when i didnt went to bible school to get innerly reformed, when God didnt chaged me, we weren't in a relationship now. God is changing me still and I want to encourage you all!!! God has a beatifull plan for us all and all are dark days He is make them to a usefull tool to reach others. every one is unique and God gave us all unique talents and feelings, but personal story are almost never always beatifull. But we may Know that God will use everything to good for the people who love Him. romans 8:28, the scripture that was given to me when I was baptised from someone who did not know anything about me. So to you all: God cares a lot about our missery and problems, but search and you will find Him because He walks with you the same as he does with me! because of my past I rather stay annomius, and sorry for my bad english come through dyslexia :D. I’m gay and I am trying to reconnect and strengthen my faith back to Jesus. It’s a continuous struggle due to people telling me I’m a sin but I know I am not alone.

My testimony - As a kid, I was brought up at a Penn Hills church called "Penn Hills Missionary Alliance". I attended Sunday Church Service and Wednesday Youth Groups basically every week up until my early teen years. I even read the Bible from front to back at the age of 10 (not an easy read for such a young punk lol). I also often memorized Bible Verses to earn my way into Edinboro Bible Camp. I had a lot of fun with all of those experiences. Anyways, my pap who was a devout Christian and the "rock" that held the family together, passed away when I was only 13 years old. I see now that my parents were going to church to please him, not God. Ironically, after he died, my descent into a life controlled by sin started to get out of control. I got into marijuana, alcohol, pornography, and began to disrespect my parents like it was my job. Into my twenties, things only got much much worse. I was a marijuana dealer for 7 years, slept with about 100 women (thank God I don't have any STD's), disrespected my parents to the point of face to face confrontation, lied to people, was addicted to porn and sex, served 5 months in Westmoreland County Prison, etc. Basically every step I took was an assault against God. Fast forward to more recent times - I was in a 4 1/2 year relationship with an older woman. I truly thought we were in love, I really did. I now see that that was not the case as she lacked the capacity to forgive which is not love. She would constantly throw my past in my face (as many of you are currently guilty of doing). Anyways, she discovered my porn issue and instead of talking about it in a compassionate and caring manner, she attacked me calling me names and even making false accusations. Then, she said something that really told me she was not a true Christian - She said you could fall too far from God's Grace to receive His mercy, which is NOWHERE in the Bible. (Go Ahead, read it. I dare you lol) Now don't get me wrong, women view watching porn as cheating when you are in a relationship. I get that and I admit that I was wrong for my actions. So anyway, she broke up with me. At first my mourning was for her, but gradually it turned into a mourning of my own soul. I was truly disgusted with the person I was. I no longer wanted to hurt myself or others around me any longer. I cried for several hours on my hands and knees like a little baby asking God to have mercy on me. Then I started watching KZfaq videos about how to get closer to God. Then I fell asleep for about 3 to 4 hours. When I woke up, I saw on my phone a video which I had not even selected! (I was asleep after all and had not physically touched my phone at all). It was a KZfaq video by Pastor Groeschel about "Spiritual Warrior- Your Porn Battle Plan". I couldn't believe it at first! I knew then that God was listening, God cared, and God loved me! It was at that moment that I started to believe which in turn opened my heart to Jesus. I then got on my knees all over again and wept like a little baby asking Jesus into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior. I made one key promise though...I promised to God that I would surrender it all and put Him first in my life above all, even my own family. Almost immediately after that, I felt a sudden surge of love and strength flow into my heart like a mighty rushing river! It was purely supernatural....literally knocked the breath out of me several times and gave me goosebumps all over my body. I became a Christian on August 16, 2020 - same day that Elvis died ironically. Now I possess love and strength that I never knew were possible before. I am now literally willing to die for my King Jesus Christ if need be....if it serves to glorify His Almighty Name. I have encountered much spiritual attack in the last 2 weeks or so (Satan is mad that he lost the battle over my heart/soul). In fact, even my own family members and former friends have lashed out at me over my newfound Faith. That's okay though because they also persecuted Jesus about 2,000 years ago so I am in good company. Thank you for reading and God bless you all! - I will add to this though.....never put anyone before God/Jesus Christ, even a woman or man who you think you are in love with. If they are not right with God, then they are not right for you. I made this unfortunate error in my spiritual journey and paid dearly for it Thank God that I made it through by the Amazing Grace of God though. He has had much mercy on me to allow me to live and once again glorify/praise His Almighty Name! Praise be to our Eternal Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST!!!
