Zlatan was never a #10. He wore #10. There's a difference. I've followed Zlatan since Ajax days and he was never ever a playmaker. He was always a striker even at Ajax, Juve and Inter. Knowing how to hold the ball up and shield doesn't make you a playmaker. Playmaker 10s are people like Zidane, Totti, Riquelme, etc. I guess people just need to make excuses for the inferior stats. Benzema es el más exitoso por jugar en el mejor y mas completo equipo siendo un pilar de este. Como goleador no puede tener cifras tan bestias ya que años estuvo repartiendo juego para que las metiese Cristiano Ronaldo y hace muchísimas cosas intangibles que en la estadística no se ve. Técnicamente es el mejor y hay una pequeña trampa en la comparativa. Mientras que el resto de jugadores aquí expuestos son 9 puros, Benzema siempre tuvo vocación de segundo punta excepto ahora que es el killer bajo las circunstancias de Madrid .
