Menti is the BEST. My turkish friend here in Germany makes them with her grandma themselves and with turkish yogurt it was the best thing ever

the first dish is from my hometown city in turkey called kayseri. i was born in germany but my parents are from turkey. the dish is called manti its filled with minced meat and are tiny dumplings which are cooked in hot water and mixed with a tomato sauce and topped with garlic yoghurt and the sour spice is called sumac or maybe sumach...it looks like chili flakes, but its actually sour...its really delicious but is really filling...don't underestimate it... kayseri is about 600 kms far away from the earthquake region (about a 5 hours car drive) but even there they felt at least over 10 earthquakes about 3,5 and 4 ... prayers for turkey and syria and thanks to the whole world woth that wholesome people who didn't even think one second and helped the people sending helpers or money...thank you to all countries from mexico to japan ❤️

I would spend 3 hours with my grandma (she is Turkish) and I would make manti with her, the amount of dedication she puts into her food is amazing. It was sorta sad though, seeing all that time and effort for only one meal. But it was delicious and so worth it !
