I saw the original Marquee gig in London 81/82 when they played Doot’…..loved it ever since & how fantastic to see him play this simple masterpiece live again ❤

I had no idea that they’d even performed this song live before, and I came across this by chance. I’d have loved to have been there that night. I still have the 7” single somewhere in the attic.

I found this song on the soundtrack of the movie let me in, and I was fascinated by it. I didn't and I didn't know it was an 80's classic. But as soon as I heard it I knew it was a classic, or should be..

Not a fan of Underworld, not really my kind of music. Freur on the other hand were absolutely a huge part of my late teen years. Saw them many times at the Marquee. So good to hear Karl singing this song all these years later.

I had to laugh when I heard the audience member, whoever it is (I assume it's an audience member anyway) doing the glissandi during the first chorus. Oh I would have DIED if he had broken into this in front of me. This is one of my all time favorite records, and I'm so happy to see Karl acknowledge finally (I had the impression he was mostly embarrassed by the Freur and Underworld MKI eras).
