White Van Karl is a great compilation. Highly recommend. It’s a bit they did on XFM. A “white van man” is sort of an every day guy and a local paper does a bit where they ask the typical “white van man” questions about daily news stories to get the opinion of average people. So Ricky and Steve take those same questions from the paper and pose them to Karl. This is Karl in his most innocent state long before Idiot Abroad and the rest so his answers are just… they’re incredible. Ricky and Steve are still in the stage of being awed by his answers, too, because they haven’t known him as long as in the later shows, so their reactions are often as funny as his answers. The White Van Karl compilation contains one of the most astonishingly rambling bizarre amazing Karl stories from his youth. You might have heard them reference “the horse in the house,” in the Ricky Gervais cartoon show. If you want to hear that story as Ricky and Steve hear it for the first time, it’s in the White Van Karl compilation.

You guys have to find 'rockbusters' and 'educating ricky' compilations from the old xfm radio show.
