This how to fold a blanket or comforter in washing machine video will show you how to properly fold a blanket or comforter up to a king sized comforter while saving space in your washing machine. Not only wish washing your blanket at home save time, but washing your comforter at home will save you money also. Washing your blanket in washer is simple and I share how to fold a blanket to save space in your washing machine. I have a Samsung washing machine top loader, but this technique will work for any top loading washer machine. In this video I share how told fold blanket in washing machine. I personally like washing my comforter at home and show you how to fold comforter for washer. Washing a blanket in washing machine or washer helps save money and time. By washing my blanket at home, I am able to share how to fold a blanket and also how to save space. You can fit up to a king size bedding so I share how to fold king size comforter/blanket for washer machine. My washer machin is a Sasumg washing machine top loader/top loading. Karla ohhhh my goodness! I spent the entire weekend washing all of our comforters. I normally would take them to the laundromat...for years I've been doing that. I can’t believe I’m searching youtube for washing machine instructions. I had to buy a new washer after my Kenmore of 38+ years finally died & can’t be repaired. I researched and researched for 3 solid days. I ended up with a Samsung top loader. I’m under no illusions this washer will have even half the lifespan as my Kenmore. Looking at the main board and reading the manual is proving to a frightening experience. There’s a whole lot of “Do Not”s in the manual. And OH MY WORD, it took 1.5 hrs to wash one comforter!!! I can tell I’m gonna miss my Kenmore even more than I actually thought I would. I did appreciate your video…thank you. It was helpful to see the manual directions in action.

Yeah this works well in front loader too. Had an LG 7.5kg that we used to wash a king size mink blanket. The LG's manual had the diagram and way to fold large blankets, the same way that you showed in your video and it worked so well that my wife started washing all our large blankets until the last one that had a lot of fluff come off and clogged up the drainage filter, I had to empty it five times before the wash cycle finished.

That is so awesome, thanks for sharing your experience! I'm guessing the fluff was from the comforter itself. Maybe different washing instructions for that comforter. I've never had that issue, even when we had a front loader.

@@karlassweetlife Actually the fluff was the tassels on the edge of the old wool blanket. Luckily the blanket still looked good without the tassels but now, 7 years later the blanket has developed a hole and has just been stored in the blanket box.

I’m testing it right now I also have a front load LG I used to always stuff my comforter in but I notice after the final rinse when it goes to do its final spin it will try but since it’s so unbalanced it throws an error code wish me luck

Hi Karla it's Lindsey. I can't fold my comforter and put it in my washer because of the agitater. I have an older washer but it works great and I love it. Hope everyone is doing well and that you are having an easy (so far) pregnancy. Our middle daughter and son-in-law are coming home from Las Vegas to help when I have my surgery. Just make it like a snake and wrap around the agitator but keep it tight to the wall and more space in the middle. Worked for me really well

I've seen comments that people have put it in the front loader. If it fits folded up, I would think it'd work.

Not silly at all, I did not put the detergent or softener in with the bedding. There is a spot on my washer that is specific for the detergent and softener.

I've seen comments say they tried it and just placed the comforter in there as best as they could and still worked.

I have an older washing machine that has the thing in the middle of the washer I guess it's the spinner so how would you get the comforter around that? I don't feel like dragging all my comforters to the laundromat. It's called the agitator! Sorry. how do you do it with the agitator in the way. I hate my wahing machine but it's all I have right now. I do like yours. Someday maybe.
