Remember that you can't get space Black if you get the base MacBook Pro M3. It only comes in the M3 Pro/M3 Max. Here's my recommended spec: M3 Pro 11 Core CPU / 14 Core GPU 18GB RAM 512GB SSD (Use External Storage)

This colour is so nice. It shifts from a light grey to a deep black in different angles and light conditions. I like it. At least it is much better than a totally dark black that would mostly be boring. I hope that they keep this colour in their MacBook lineup.

I agree. A very dark grey is much better than a black black. Mainly because black is a common color used in cheap feeling laptops.

Nice review, man. Just looked into a few other reviews and I think you're the only one who pointed out that the fingerprints are visible. Most people said that you can't really see them, but from your angles they really are noticeable.

It depends on the lighting as well though. Hes in a pretty well lit room so it appears lighter but doesn’t really bother me. I’m not going to be looking at the back of it 🤣

It’s interesting, Honestly most of these high production videos are made in really really bright environments, my friend has a midnight MacBook Air and where we sit inside the library in a shared work environment (that is a dull warmly lit surrounding) the “blue” midnight looks like black

Would not agree that the fingerprints are the same with the midnight color. Checked both colors out instore and the space black had much less fingerprints.

I am really annoyed that they locked the starlight color to the air. Apple needs to stop doing this and let us just choose the colors we want. If you want to lock starlight to the pro/max models, go for it, but I just really want that color on the pro.

Especially interesting how 14 core M3 Max does in 14" MacBook Pro speaking of thermals, fan noise etc. IMO - 16 core M3 Max belongs in a 16" one for sure.

Do you mean having a USB-A port? Because these models have only USB-C ports. But you can still use a bluetooth mouse with no problems.

@@kyan9920 but the problem is my iPad Pro 2020 face is broken so I’m thinking of upgrading to the m2 iPad Pro mini led for media consumption etc, and now I see the m3 Mac is out , it has mini led just like the iPad, plus more storage (512), and also supports for Dolby vision+ spatial audio for AirPods Pro 2 which my MacBook Air m1 doesn’t support….its 2 in 1 combo( iPad mini led + MacBook m3 with bigger storage than my m1)….
