I am from Bhutan, I have been to this Holy temple and the foods served in earthen pots are so pure and delicious.

I absolutely love how India has age old traditions like this. You could have eaten the same variety of prasad from this temple going back hundreds of years. That deep sense of almost timeless continuity is definitely one of the most beautiful things about incredible India. Long may these things continue and not be tainted by globalism.

I belong west Bengal , a neighbour state to odisha. I can tell you , this is not just a good and tasty food. You are blessed by Prabhu Narayan. This is known as Mahaprasad , we are blessed to have Jagannath ji at a distance of few hours. Jai Jagannath 🚩♥️

A few people asking why I ate with my left hand. I dunno why... I use both my hands for eating all the time. Both are clean and useful for eating according to me 😁

It is so important to preserve this. People don’t realize that things like chilies peppers tomatoes onions garlic and even potatoes are not from there. Keeping the purity and the tradition matters a lot. Yes of course it’s fun to eat fusion foods but this is so important for the preservation of wisdom. India is probably the only culture that has been able to preserve 10 to 20,000 year old cuisine.

This is the immortal culture of my beloved Odisha. The food prepared translates to Prasad after offering to God. I cannot describe the taste and heavenly delicious aroma. Be it Jagannath temple in Puri or Lingaraj temple or Anant Vasudev temple of Bhubaneswar or any other temple in Odisha. I am blessed to Bo born in Odisha and immensely proud to call myself Odia.

My Odisha Temple food is 1000% more tastier than Taj hotel foods. 🙏🙏🙏

All vegetarian nutritious vegetables and grain, sourced ethically, slow-cooked in earthen pots on the natural wooden fire, and served in harmony with nature too ( no waste). JAI SHREE KRISHNA :)

During my Engg days, we used to go to a nearby town where we enjoy prasad of Lord Jagannath temple. Best in the world food satisfaction. This made those memories fresh.

Food cooked using firewood and/or served on a banana leaf, these are the indicators that the food is going to taste good..

For the people who talk about hygiene, understand two things guys, 1. Bhramin people who cook the food are very religious conscious and they maintain their body very neat and most of the time they do not even speak while cooking. They don't even touch unwanted things or people (This is typical Indian practice being followed even before COVID-19 era) 2. As said in the video, to the cooking area outsiders are not allowed (outsider they mean ANYone (not just foreigners) who does not belong to the team of people who cooks for GOD) Thank you mate for such a wonderful video, your work is amazing, I love your videos. :)

There are lots of rules & regulations for taking these mahaparasad, some of them are below : 1. Always eat with your right hand & no spoon is allowed. 2. Always place your mahaprasad higher than your seat. 3. Don't compare these mahaprasad with any other foods of other places. 4. Wastage of mahaprasad is strictly prohibited. 5. Your extra prasad can be served to anyone, but no one can waste these mahaprasad. 6. Washing hands & mouth after eating is prohibited. Instead, you can wash the hands on grass or grounds & you have to swallow your mouthful of water after eating but cannot expel out that water.

I am astonished by your deep knowledge on Indian cuisine and culture.

Any temple prasad is more tastier than a star hotel food..

I like indian food, but what i concern the most is about how clean they were made.

Earthen pot is best to cook food ,100% nutrition s intact in pot while in pressure cooker only 30% remain,even so tasty in pot. I m proud to be an Indian.
