I'm outside another call centre in India! And this time I've been given the REAL footage inside their call centre. You won't believe this phone call where an Indian call centre scammer is scaring a 13-year-old Australian school girl. The way he talks to her is alarming. As the call goes on she gets very distressed by this creep. These scam call centres must be stopped! They're a haven for criminals and low-lives.

@@user-vn7ce5ig1z This guy, he seriously asked her some really inappropriate questions and I can't believe it. he even harassed the sh*t out of that poor little girl and made her break down in tears. What most must've missed out on here as it was a long video, not only did he harass her, but remember he said that he could see all her passwords and had access to her pc. So, all the accounts, pictures, videos documents you name it. He had access to all of her stuff as well.

Problem is, while it's a growing issue, most of the time nothing can really be done. The police do shut down some of these call centers, but usually what happens is they end up moving to a new form of operation, meaning the whole thing becomes somewhat pointless. Sometimes even the local police are in on it, again, making the whole "shutting them down" pointless. It's not just a problem in the US, but all over the world.

I was in the exact same boat as this little girl when I was her age. I was terrified!! I remember I downloaded software that would give them remote access to my laptop. When I was asked to give them my access code, I felt so uncomfortable with the whole situation so I didn’t give them the access code. They got angry at me, which was terrifying to me as a child!

When i was around her age (early 2000s) I remember i was home alone and got a call on the landline and it was some woman claiming our number was prank calling her (which I wasn’t). She threatened to come to my house shoot and kill my whole family. What a fucking terrifying feeling. My mom called back the number when she got home from work completely freaking out on this lady.

This broke my heart - she was so innocent and just wanted to play a video game. I absolutely hate scammers. I was ready to close the video as I was becoming quite upset. Hearing her almost cry I so wanted to protect her. Why the hell would you do that to an innocent child just wanting to play a video game!? I am so glad the mother intervened at the end. I thank all those scams baiters out there for all you do. Please, keep up the good fight!

I reckon this scammer probably would have tried to encourage the girl to steal her mother's CC without her noticing. He would have said something like "you can't tell anyone, not even your mother, otherwise I won't fix your computer... Blah blah blah" - I've seen far too many scam bait videos and it's the kinda stuff they say to elderly(they believe they're talking to elderly).

I really appreciate all the work you are doing Karl. I wish that it was a small number but we are heading towards an alarmingly selfish society triggered by social and economic inequality, and lack of jobs. Busting these call centres are absolutely commendable but am concerned the people involved will only move on to other ways of scamming people.

As I was travelling to Delhi from Jaipur some years ago, I could sense a cold feeling pass through me as my vehicle passed through these locations what seemed to contain these fake call centers. I have been seeing a lot of your videos over these years. It is a service that you do to foreigners and Indians.

I would chime in but we'd need either Karl or Jim to set up the funding so that it can be trusted and be transferred anonymously - we don't need to know who the girl is. I feel so sorry for her, she was just so scared. I have a little sister and I feel this very much. I don't want anyone to get scammed this way, but especially not children.

But she should've bought the game. 10 year olds should know that free paid games are just fake. Well i got some free paid games, i mean a lot, but i know what to do, im only 12, downloaded all those games at 11. Got red faction guerrilla, counter-strike series, live for speed, and etc... Also i bet cooking simulator wouldnt even run on her pc or laptop because it looks like it uses premade unity assets. Moral of the story is, if you think you don't know much about computers, don't try to "cheat" the system to get anything that requires payment for free.

Too bad they're too stupid to understand that scam-baiters are legion and going after one or two or ten is pointless. In the past three or four years, scam-baiting channels positively exploded. The peak was a year or two ago, but there's still new ones all the time (which is good, it means awareness just keeps increasing). If investigative scam-baiters like Jim, Karl, NeeP, AtomicShrimp, and PleasantGreen entered the fray in the past few years, more will.

Dont worry he doesnt do anything...he even knew some scammer was going to wipe sht on his friends shoe then make him pay to have it cleaned... didnt bother to get the police at all...the scammer made money.... He bought scamming family rice,milk,and oil and let them go and sell it ...again did nothing.... he pretends he makes those videos for others and thats great for the few people going but he is only helping them make their money for the day and not in any trouble at all....jokes on him really and id rsther him not make the video at all then contribute to scammers...makes it seem like theyre friends and hes in on it

I have been receiving and ignoring this calls, but since I'm watching your videos I started picking up the phone and waste their time so they don't call anyone else. This is sad. This was me years ago, only the last time I freaked out about virus/block up was in college because my laptop was taken over and I couldn't get around it. So I was legit freaking out, but I new it was a virus of some type and not a website. I also know what she is going through because again, I've been there going to sites accidentally and getting sent a "virus" warning. The problem is that, like older adults, children/teens aren't familiar with internet safety and I don't think it's taught in schools. In college you have to take a mandatory computer class regardless of your degree (least I did), so part of what you learn is internet safety. We need to teach and educate people on these matters, but until we do, it'll only increase and get worse as more people get scammed.

This reminds me when I was given my first laptop, being not so tech-savvy at the age of 14 or 15. I also got a one of these scam pop ups and called the people. I do remember them connecting to my PC, and going through the scammer script. Never was scammed by them though. I do remember during the scam turning off my laptop and it booting back up again, and it becoming perfectly fine, because it was perfectly fine the entire time. Flash forward now, I am finishing up a Computer Science degree with a focus in Cyber Security.

Thanks for posting this but also thanks for the warning at the beginning of the video. I have to admit that I didn't have the heart to listen to a 13 year old getting scammed. It makes me sick to my stomach to think that there are people like this out there that are willing to prey upon others like this.
