My favorite scugrat I've always liked the Artificer for a number of reasons, but one of the main ones is because of how detached she is from the main story of the Iterators. She already has her own goal, and just so happens to come across someone who can enable her wrath in exactly the way she wants. 5P just notices her anger and provides her another of her outlets for it. Nothing more, really. She has no message to deliver, no errands to run. She only has her hitlist, with a single word in mind. "Scavengers."

Anyways here's this character's story for any of the non-rainwolders who stumbled here. Spoilers for Rain World Downpour! :3 The Artificer's pups got killed when the scavenger tribe attacked her. She is now so angry that she's been permalocked out of afterlife. Also she explodes

Partially because of the fact that she is literally a explosive enzymes factory. I mean that’s probably why the scavengers attacked. They probably put two into together, and they attacked to get the walking explosives factory away. They probably didn’t mean for those two other casualties.

If you talk about every character, Saint saves everyone so.. But regardless even if Artificer's story is completely independent, THEY WIN. Going solely off the end game portraits: Arti kills chief scav, murders all challenger scavs and/or the remaining population, then claims the chief's mask Loading the game back up now you're chief scavenger, and all the scavengers respect/fear her. She's alive and chilling/killing My head canon though is that Gourmand's slugcat expedition recruits Arti because of the obvious talent for murder and because they'll need her help/guidance to safely enjoy the simpler pleasures in life. And with the new tribe of slugcats, Artificer can learn to open her heart and learn to love (not be death-incarnate) again . So in hindsight this ending is perfect.

In her ravenous hatred she found no peace, and with boiling blood she scoured the garbage wastes seeking vengeance against the scavengers who had wronged her. She wore the mask of the Scavenger chieftan, and those that tasted the bite of her spear named her… the artificer.

I like to imagine, thanks to the Cycle, that the Artificer is still alive for a vast majority of the timeline and becomes this almost-mythical destructive beast to the scavengers. A scarlet blur of fire and rage hunting them for a wrong committed long ago.

my fav is artificer. they have a very interesting story with a lot of lore to dig.
