This album is one of the best electronic albums ever made. Every song here feels incredibly unique, even when tackling genres that have a habit of being generic, like progressive house. The album flows very well, creating this perfectly dark and digital atmosphere. The album has no low points, but has lots of high points. Not to mention the gorgeously aesthetic artwork and animation that accompanied it, and the meta-story that fits the sound of the album perfectly. Truly a classic electronic album, no matter how much its slept on.

I might get a little philosophical here, but I'm just going to share my thoughts on the whole "New Age Dark Age" theme. It honestly seems to me like two completely alternate universes. The two are fighting, but not in the sense of wars, but instead, a fight for existence. When one exists, the other cannot. The two are constantly fighting to exist in the one plane of existence between them. There is no way for them to both exist in this plane, and there are no other planes for them to occupy. So, they are constantly at war. Basically, think of a light switch. When it's on, the New Age exists. When it's off, the Dark Age exists. Philosophical shit, right?

And it's in that second part where the comparison is made. But where OP Pondered that they are at war, I propose instead the following. I propose that this album envisions the present and the future.Edge of the world, stickup, fixed are all themes we see in our timeline. Faint echoes, a bright but distant future, they all sound, more modern. Newer. You see where I'm going? The style is new, the feel is present. The dark age, as far as we can tell is right now, the future, at least according to Karma, is bright even if it's distant. Idk, am I getting any resonance from you guys?

@@dragon67849 I like your proposal. I've always liked Karma Fields since hearing them on Monstercat, I think there's a likely possibility that they had a conceptual idea behind their album. The visuals help us to receive them in black and white already, as well as the title which is describing both 'new' and 'dark', two states.

This level of edition goes up high to an unknown level I am so amazed of the quality that I have experiences I love those videos you have excelled in any way the brilliance of design and elegance. This is a master piece of animation I cannot imagine the hard work that exists behind every frame each vector, solid, line, mask, transparency and transformation.
