And it’s hard to count how many opponents he sent to the canvas in fights in Muay Thai, kickboxing and K-1. In 2003, Melvin was 27 years old, in the prime of his life, having crushed many opponents in various striking tournaments and successfully started his MMA career, knocking out four opponents and reducing one fight to a draw.
