Hinestly considering how dark it is, the zues cam was a nice addition to capture the scale and just how real the situation was being in their lines

Looking at maps in pitch darkness should require using a torch or something , flares should gradually dim out not go out like house lights I assume only tho. I can't wait what game devs of these kind if games come up with 10 years from now , so realistic , great tools for teaching war tactics I assume again.

@@richarddietz2659 you can use your flashlights to light your map up. Or a nearby flare on the ground can light it up. But yeah we will have to see how Reforger does

Ah the great blue on blue incident, it was like my first or second day I think and after getting fragged by cynic right before I was about to open fire, I respawned but forgot to grab my kit, so someone dropped me a 1911 and I just ran around confused with my ears ringing and someone on the other side told me to tell everyone to stop firing on friendlies but I could barely hear since I didn’t have earplugs so I just ran around yelling for people to stop firing hoping they could hear me until I got shot in the back by friendlies lmao

I'm really glad ArmA is able to capture the friendly fire incidents that often happens during chaotic battles. The dense jungle at night and lack of universal comms makes for the perfect storm of friendly fire.

Hi karmakut I really enjoy your videos and playing on your server. Your doing a great job! I want to ask you how do you achieve frames as high as this and what is your setup. I’m getting barely 20 fps whilst playing on liberality server and It hurts my eyes as hell haha…

Could I also ask you if adding some performance mods to the server would be possible? Like automatic render distance mod or garbage bags instead of bodies mod (I forgot the exact names sorry)

@@Lolilucaunlikely for performance mods, they've been clipping mods from the modlist already to help with performance and generally performance is fine until things spawn...but that's to be expected. If you want good frames find your self a newer CPU. solid Intel CPU preferably, Intel is better with single core performance which is all Arma runs off of... However if your AMD look into a x3D CPU since these ones were some of the few AMD put out that uses single core performance and not multi threaded processing. But either way if you go just a better CPU in general will help... I have a R5 5600x and I see 60fps on server restart and 20-35 in combat

@@L33T_Taco I have a 1050ti with i7700hq which is not the worst setup but the amount of mods on the server just kills it (I don’t mean they are bad or somethin). Problem is that none of performance videos is good for my setup because my graphic card in benchmarks does very, very bad job (it is a laptop gpu). I’m looking for an upgrade but soon a lot may change in my life (I’m going to college far away from my city and I ain’t taking a pc with me) so the only option for me is a laptop. Do you have any recommendations maybe on some devices or even tips on how to boost laptop performance?

@@Loliluca your GPU is more than enough. I had a 1660ti and was fine. Your CPU will definitely need an upgrade. I think Karma's running a 13000k or some shit xD but still just check out any 10k+ series CPU and get whatever your budget can afford and make sure your motherboard can support the upgrade and you should be fine. Your GPU shouldn't be holding you back rn

There's something that's been confusing me for a bit with regards to how the squads are titled in KOG and I hope someone could answer this for me. All the squads in KOG are called "Kilo 1-4" or similar. But I've always seen movies and games that an individual operator would be called "Echo 3-1" or similar. Is this naming and identification system specific to KOG or is this how squads are named in the real spec ops world?

1-1 through 1-4 are full squads. Designators for individuals are higher numbers like 1-6 being ground commander/PL

If you wanna get technical with it you have 1-1 which is platoon 1 squad 1... You can even say 1-1-4 which is like platoon 1, squad 1 guy 4, out of like 10.. however likely you'll here: 1-1 actual (actual SL) 1-1 acting (person taking over SL) 1-1 Alpha (Alpha team lead/operator) 1-1 Bravo (bravo team lead/operator) Or 1-1 Romeo (Squad RTO/radio) Most of the movie stuff is fancy Hollywood callsigns and stuff which does exists, for example "Hitman" was a well known callsign that could designate a battalion and the next two digits were the platoon then the squad.. like Hitman 2-3... Callsign Hitman for battalion 2nd platoon 3rd squad 1-4 is squad, 6 is platoon leader, 7 is XO, 8 is JTAC (least for this server) and 9 is platoon medic

The Vietcong players, KOG shouldnt be getting all this ammo and medical supplies! lol, you get 5 total mags, and 5 total bandages, no TQs or elastics or blood or anything like that, thats back in the tunnels or base were the doctors are
