Kannadigas first of all should be grateful for that, otherwise this bill is enough to completely destroy Karnataka's thriving economy in a slow systemic manner, which is mostly IT services based. Secondly forget everything else that is there in the bill. Group C, Group D reservation is fine, though unconstitutional. But companies are not worried about that. The problem comes with the managerial and tech jobs. Which says that if there is a shortage of local talents then the companies should consult with the government to reach an amicable solution. No private entity will like to comply with such whimsical demands. They are better off relocating to other cities. The time of Bill Clinton and today is a different thing. Most states have their own SEZs and ready infrastructures. It's gonna be a plug and play for companies if they relocate and call some other cities their home. Every state now has their own IT hub. It's now who can lure them more. Bangalore grew as an IT hub and a cosmopolitan city because of the favorable, progressive government policies so far and they had the first mover advantage. It created an ecosystem which the companies liked so far. Otherwise infrastructure wise there is not much difference between a Banglore IT hub and a Hyderabad, Vizag, Pune, Gurgaon, New Town IT hub. They are either similar or even better planned in some cases, as they were built recently.

And the infrastructure there is as good as or even better than Bangalore because they've been planned later. The only thing Bangalore had was a cosmopolitan spirit, and progressive government policies which created a favorable ecosystem there. And they had the first mover advantage.

Why? They should get their share of central government jobs as per their proportion of tax and revenue contribution to the central government income. Which it is so happy to spend in North Indian states. Besides we're talking about state level jobs. Karnataka was formed as a state specifically for kannada speaking people. It's entirely right and proper that they get their own state government jobs. Kannadigas are not going to UP Bihar Haryana and other northern states and taking those local jobs. All the migration is in the opposite direction. Enough is enough.

Also all outsiders in Karnataka must be taxed more for doing jobs in Karnataka, on their income generated inside Karnataka. DKS had proposed a EXIT TAX as well for all outsiders working in Karnataka this could be imposed in the 2nd phase once the new labour bill is implemented. The bill has passed the local signatures and now can be slowly implemented
