It's so cool to see these great artists showing off their skill and range! While digimon and appmon are probably closer than some fans might be willing to recognize, it is true that the design sinsibilities that go into creating one or the other tend to be a little different. Watching these artists take that and being able to adapt is great!

I’ll admit that I’ve still yet to watch Appmon, it’s the one Digimon season I’ve skipped because I’ve always been unsure about it. But it has been growing on me a bit over time, and these customs are utterly FANTASTIC. I would love to see them get more love if we get more fantastic designs such as these. Let me reduce your concerns. Appmon anime is somewhat a spinoff, but has some of the most important themes of the franchise totally present: character growth and development, and very charismatic characters. Surprisingly, the main protagonist is the less appealing in all the cast, but his partner is such a polar opposite to him that things work well. The script has almost zero dramatic twists or surprises, you can deduce ages before what will happen, but even these previsible moments are displayed in a way that simply works. The only thing that can somewhat scare more purist fans is that the evolution and ranking system aren't the same from the main franchise. But this system is explained well enough in the anime. If you don't have a problem with this, go ahead. You will not be dissapointed.

@@ClefGamerFilosofo I disagree with the idea that Haru is less compelling than the characters around him but that's not an insult to the others whatsoever and otherwise I agree completely. Each character was crafted with the same care that made the original Adventure cast so loveable, despite the claims that they're just meant to look trendy (after all, wasn't that what the original Adventure was supposed to be?). The show starts off a tad slow, but no slower than Data Squad, and the payoff is well worth it, especially if you're a fan of characters like Matt and Ken. No Digimon season is perfect and Appmon is no exception but it's probably one of the most solid seasons out there in my opinion. The worst part is the character designs and distinct separation from Digimon as a whole, and the character designs really grow on you (not to mention certain designs, like Offmon and Hackmon, are just genuinely cute at first glance.)

Appmon is still on my watchlist but I love these! Great designs, light social commentary and just a lot of fun. I hope this video does well so you can do more of these! I'd love to see an Amazonmon, Tumblrmon, Discordmon, Venmomon and/or Crunchyrollmon!

You're the best digituber in the world wide world Karn! And I say this as a 90's kid that preffers all anime seasons from og Adventure to Data Squad/Savers "and" Ghost Game recently. Yeah, I never got a taste for APPMON but all digimon fans are valid and deserve to be treated with some appreciation. You and your collab artists have done a very commendable work with all these! Such cool designs! If they were digimon instead of appmon, I would request an evo line for Tweetmon and Spotmon (those were my favs!) Cheers to their creativity, and your generosity, man! Awesome job on giving Appmon some love, Karn. Really love Googlemon's design as it really reminds me of Puzzlemon and Messemon. (Insert long lost Appmon family relationship but coincidental appearance joke here). I hope that we get more videos on Appmon such as what if the Applidrivers and other get digimon. As an huge Appmon fan, I will give this a huge thumbs up. As Astra would say, " Do I feel it? Do I not? Of course I feel it!!!( Noreru, norenai, cho noreru!!!!) " Also, speaking of Gugumon, there are also unknown appmon that have yet to have art such Vjumpmon, Jumpplusmon, Speciamon, and Santamon.

Good job to you and all the artists. I really think that Bandai should take a step back and rework a lot of things in the franchise, from the contest digimons that ended forgotten to officially including the appmon in the reference material. I know i'm not the only one who noticed how some of them would fit almost perfectly in some now incomplete evolution lines.

I've never watched Appmon (I know it exists) and I doubt I'll watch it 😂 But this is indeed a fun video idea and making these based on real apps makes appmon definitely interesting at least. All designs are incredible and really well done. They feel real for sure. My favorites being Metamon first and Alphabetmon second. Appmon was a bit underappreciated, I did like the spinoff for focusing on current technology instead of cyberspace in general with Digimon. You know what would be really fun, another Digimon spinoff with the mons being based on computer hardware instead of software. You could create mons based on PCs, Phones, Game consoles and even super computers. That would be an esoteric creative process when thinking of what they would look like. Damn, now that I think about it, I'm just rehashing Merryweather Media and his console girls series, only expanding to more tech....Still something to think about Karn.

Its kind of funny to hear people talk about "as long as twitter is around." I really liked the Twitter appmon design, but I enjoyed the others. Shows/movies show their age right now, when they reference Myspace, so I think that's funny. We might see the same with Twitter in a few months. I hope you'll make this a yearly tradition or something. I'd like to see appmons for Babelfish, Duolingo, Wordle, Fitbit, Tumblr, Discord, Myspace, Yahoo (since thats japan's main online auctions), amazon, and maybe even an appmon for your video's sponser.

These are such cool and cute ideas! My favorites have to be Instamon and Twitmon, I love the integration of ideas and lore! Yes I'd love to see more websites and apps turned into Appmon! In fact, I really should go check out that series sometime. If I enjoyed Fusion and Frontier, I have no doubts I'll love it too!

I bet it'd be fun to see what the artists come up with for Adobemon (probably a fusion of like photoshop, premiere, etc.) and idk maybe tumblrmon? Twitchmon? Would Amazonmon, Twitchmon, and Audiblemon fuse together to create some powerful hybrid too? Lot of untapped potential in this idea still even after covering some of the heavy-hitters already. Always love the artist videos. The Digimon community is so full of talent.

Hey, nice video! I also looked back at your ranking for Digimon Kindness evolutions and I thought about a possible ideas for Kindness ideas if you want to do a redesign video for that. Since the Digi-Egg of Kindness has a flower design I suggest looking at insects that resemble flowers. I know Sincerity takes plant elements and Knowledge has bugs but if Friendship and Reliability both have elements of ice and Courage and Love both can have flames, maybe Kindness can use flowers and insects especially since there are mantis and other bugs that look like flowers and plants. Maybe have some kind of Zen theme tied since the Digi Egg could also look a bit like a lotus and to some extent at least in martial arts (the move Mantis) insects. I always felt like Stingmon had sort of a wise and chilled personality esp in his English voice so the Zen thing might fit. Just throwing some ideas out there.

I only watched the first episode and thought it was so weird, like too much Digimon for a clone and too out of the usual for a spin-off. But the concept itself is really cool, and all of this chaotic (and probably evil) appmon are great.
