Karn just inspired me to draw spirit forms for the OG cast

I think Joe’s spirits are a bit all over the place, but if the idea is to mix water, ice, fur, and vehicles, here is my take: Human spirit: Shawujinmon. He is associated with water and has blue hair like Joe, and he sort of gives that same skinny nerd vibe Joe has going on. Beast Spirit: Frozomon, I think this is a great pick and the best one from this list. It’s ice theme and a vehicle with the same fur element that Ikkakumon has. Fused Spirit: Aesgisdramon. Mix Shawujimon’s water element and reptilian features with Frozomon’s vehicle nature and heavy armor and weapons and you get a Dragon boat robot thingy. Aegisdramon is the closest you can get to a metal Plesiomon, and if you look closely, it actually has blue fur under his armor, so blue hair like Joe and Shawujimon, and fur under armor like Frozomon.

I'm leaning Lilamon and Entmon. The somewhat 'undead' nature of Entmon the feminine grace of Lilamon would fuse well into Rafflesimon.

Cherubimon and Metalgarurumon is a truly WILD fusion. I had no idea it existed!

Manticoremon is actually a Familiar of angelic digimon and is summoned by Arkhai Angemon for battle alongside Gargomon, so it wojld work as a holy beast. This also ties into the human spirit being Luxmon as Arkhai angelmon is his canon ultimate.

Absolutely love this! Adventure 1 and Frontier have always been my favorite Digimon series. Combining the two together like this made my day!

I just had an idea to solve Mimi's spirits, the hydramon ones can be the Corrupted spirits and Rafflesimon can be the Purified version of it.

Honestly, the pale fur and tiger striping on Runnermon does give some Garurumon elements that fit Mat nicely as well.

Personally, I think Kabukimon to Entmon to Hydramon works really well as a corrupted spirit line. Meanwhile, Toropiamon and Bloomlordmon would be an interesting subversion, as they're elegant and pretty without being conventionally feminine. I think Mimi being comfortable with herself in those forms would be a nice and unique depiction of sincerity.

This may sound crazy, but I could see Tai having Volcanicdramon as a merged spirit. If that happened, Matt would have to somehow get Metallicdramon just so they could fuse.

I wish we saw more of Regalecusmon, he's extremely awesome IMO. What I most wished to see with the Spirits would be "fixed" Fusion Spirits (and maybe Ancients?). By that I mean to see all following the Fire, Light and Dark (purified) logic: the Fusion actually looks like a fusion between the Human and Beast forms (and their respective Ancients also look like they are made from the Spirits, or, better saying, that the Spirits are made from them). The easiest to do that would be the Thunder one, in my humble opinion...

Just image Tai just belting out these lines: Spirit of Courage Show THINE SOUL!!! BETELGAMMAMON!!! Spirit of Courage Unleash THE BEAST!!! FLARE LIZAMON!!! Spirit's Come Forth!!! Courage United!!! Bryweludramon!!!

I’m really liking this trend of assigning spirit evolutions to characters from the preexisting digimon. It’s a really neat thought experiment on how to best represent the character, whatever trait they embody, and the characteristics of their respective partner’s (or swapped spirit’s) line

Video idea: Olympus 12 members get mode changes (for example like how Apollomon has whispered or how Dianamon got a corrupted form)

I think what you said about the Love armours being more animalistic is quite interesting. It might’ve even been intentional since Love is one of the most primal feelings that all living creatures share in one may or another

Something I've been thinking about a lot somewhat recently is Digimon having design tweaks depending on the context of the individual and that letting them deviate from the standard type of their species to better fit things like specific evolution lines or connected humans. But i can see editing official Digimon being a small way to make this kind of video more unique. Like if Joe's three spirits were all given the same blue metal to give them an extra level of cohesion to sell the concept. It's totally not necessary to sell it obviously but I've just been considering that in general and this made me think about it, this video was very fun and i really like using existing Digimon to piece lines together (I do it a lot and it's very fun)

I like the idea of Joe’s spirit being Splashmon but not the human spirit. Like, he always starts in darkness mode and it’s not until after a dedicated episode does he learn that he can take on a human shape, if only briefly in this continuity.

The close up shot of the Hydrussy was smart. Really gets the point across.

A fun Spirit Digimon Custom art video would be the 02 kids using the Spirit "Armor" on their digimon instead of their traditional Digi Eggs

Always fun time whenever Frontier gets some love. Im sure this video is already in the works( if not already done) but a video on what if the Tamers utilized armor digivolution word be great. I saw that weirdomon has posting so art with the Karn title on them. The Renomon friendship armor is peak!

Perhaps, since you might not be able to do all 24 at once, what if you do a trilogy with one part for each stage, like the first video is for their human spirits, the second is the beast spirits, and the third is for the hybrid spirits, with a recap of their lines in each one just so that they don't get confused.

This concept is AWESOME and i think everybody wants a custom art version of this.

I like the videos where you have to use existing digimon for new evolution lines since it gives you a bit of a challenge.

I think Matt turning into Rinkmon works really well, especially if plot beats are really similar to the original series. RInkmon first big showing would be the fight at the lake, and just imagining RInkmon turning the lake into ice as they skate across it and save T.K.

A bunch of old insect Digimon look straight up like Xenomorphs from the Alien franchise. Especially Kabuterimon and Snimon. And Ebemon has a Xenomorph head. So I really like your ideas for Izzy

There was a fic I haven't re-read in a long time, but it had Davis, Kari, and TK (and an OC) capable of wearing the armours of Miracles, Light, and Hope (and I forget what the OC's crest was).

I always love these types of videos you do. I love thinking of ways to connect digimon together in digivolutions, and I love this video conceptualizing which "regular" digimon could be a human or beast spirit. I think you have the right way of thinking for everyone, but I have a a hang-up about putting Entmon with Mimi. Even though the beast spirit is meant to be...well, beastly, it also needs to fit more with the person too. Kabukimon and Lilamon are great contenders for her human spirit, but I would not chose Entmon because that doesn't fit Mimi's aesthetic at all. She would be so horrified and disgusted that this was her beast form lmao. That's why out of your choices I'd stick with Toropiamon because it is not only beastly, but it would fit better with Mimi's overall aesthetic to me. And Rafflesimon is a perfect fusion for her. Also, giving Izzy more "alien" digimon is funny because in the early Adventure dub they would have him mention aliens a lot. It's a cute reference to Saban's localization choice.

Honestly Kari's is absolutely perfect i adore it!

A couple other ideas I think would be fun to explore would be what if the fusion evolutions mixed elements? E.x. what if Tommy used the ice human spirit and the wood beast spirit? There are 22 spirits that we know of, if you include the corrupted dark spirits. So many different combinations to explore. My other idea would be what if the other kids used the big fusion - the one that used 10 spirits each and gave us Emperor Greymon and Manga Garurumon. What would JP's thunder based look like. Or Zoe's wind based.

I like Harpymon for Sora, but I actually think it would work _just_ a tad better as her Beast Spirit instead. Then I'd propose Darcmon as her Human and Valkyrimon as her Fusion. Awesome video, as always!

I'm a little surprised that Ceresmon medium wasn't mentioned for Mimi's final spirit form. Ceresmon being a mixture of toropiamon and Kabukimon sounds pretty solid.

Oh I thought of some fun Spirit Evos for Joe! The human could be Hookmon and the beast would be Depthmon. Hookmon is the human pirate that sails the sea while Depthmon is literally in the depth. Depthmon’s type is “Aquatic Beast Man” which is exactly what the spirit should be. I think those two would then be a perfect setup for Neptunemon, who splits the difference as a mermaid

IF you ever do a custom art version you could base the spirits more directly on the digieggs.

You could do custom art duos or trios for a future series. You could also fold in 02 with that series, which would work well if you did three children per video since twelve is a multiple of three.

I can see a clear case for Izzy's bug-themed line as Shivamon's flower being the repurposed metal casing he wore in his prior stages. Entmon definitely exists to mirror Petaldramon it just feels like the more monstrous beast+hybrid are a bit on the edgy side for Mimi, both work very well though. Either Hybrid for TK works because of how 2020 had the plot point of Devimon being a part of Angemon/Seraphimon not only would that give purpose for his beast looking corrupted but it would allow for the balance in Lucemon to be that much more meaningful.

I was literally thinking about this over the weekend! I was thinking more 02 than 01 and have an inverse of the same concept with frontier, meaning what if frontier kids could use digi eggs to evolve. Like it would still be flametramon but have humamoid characteristics! But that runs into the custom art area.

Got a pair of sets, one for Izzy and one for Mimi. Izzy's Human Spirit can be Scarabmon, making use of the obvious connections of insects with the Knowledge Crest's element of earth in 02. Following with your space theming, the Beast Spirit is Gradimon, named after tardigrades, one of very few creatures that can survive in the vacuum of space. The Fusion combines the image of the scarab with the power of the stars to make Kheprimon, based on the Egyptian God of the same name thought responsible for rolling the sun across the sky. Mimi's Human Spirit is DesertRosemon, or maybe just Desromon for short; it's named after desert roses, both the flower and the crystal, and narrows in on her Western themes by making her a southern belle of sorts. This focus on the west continues with the Beast Spirit: Tumblemon, being based on tumbleweeds with the added animal element of the cartwheeling spider. The Fusion enhances DesertRosemon with the precision of a many-eyed spider, creating Oakleymon; a sharpshooter based on the famous Annie Oakley, her being chosen admittedly because of the pun of OAKley for a plant-based Digimon

Honestly the best part of Tai's picks is that there are obvious picks for his human and beast spirits get corrupted to (like Duskmon and Velgemon) if he's the one to dark digivolve again, BetelGammaon to GulusGammamon and Flarerizamon to Darkrizamon

The issue with Digimon is that the 'family trees' just aren't consistent and are basically giant webs. So getting several different characters to have three of these is just insanely difficult to do well. There are just too many options and it's really vague as to what is 'best'.

Don't worry too much about levels, levels do fluctuate between continuity such as how Angewomon is a level 5 in most media but also a level 6 in few others.

For Tai's fusion spirit, you could've just used Wargreymon, since it does kinda fit.

I like the Luxmon and Sistermon Blanc choices especially because in a Potential Adventure Frontiers 02 they could just be "promoted" to Pidmon and Sistermmon Blanc Awakened Mode.

Genuine question, how do you lose an audio track? I've really only done some simple editing for class on windows movie maker and adobe premiere pro to gauge my editing level.
