Cartography not my favorite at all but you asked how to use. My idea would be an opening or closing page of a travel album. I used a map of Italy and placed a brad at each city we visited and used a piece of bakers twine to represent the route we took to each city. This was the opening page of my Italy trip album.

I was very disappointed with my boxes. I ordered 2 expecting to 2 different boxes. My boxes were identical & identical to yours. I have 6 packages of the same journaling cards. (Seriously 6 ). I enjoyed what everyone is saying with ideas for the topography collection, especially since I have 2. It will be awhile before I order another of their mystery boxes.

I haven’t gotten mine yet. Last time I waited over a month to get it. So this time I paid for a higher level of shipping and several people didn’t pay for shipping and got theirs faster. I think their shipping times are unprofessional and won’t be ordering again. Thanks for giving me an idea of what might be in my box.

Ok I’m so sorry but have to say it: I’m soooo glad that I didn’t buy it. I was dying knowing that you were going to get it lol but I knew that I wouldn’t like it. I do love the Mary Poppins collection but I do have a ton of that already. One of these days I’ll get to it. I’ll never understand why they had to put 3 of the same pack of OLD cards in there vs just giving everyone 3 different ones. I still have some of that collection one of these days I’ll send it to you so that you can have it to match the cards 😜

I was disappointed too. I thought the vids of the last box looked like it would be worth a shot. Every vid I have seen if this one all had 3 packs of the same cards… but all had different cards. Why not mix it up? I also love their 6x6 pads and was hoping for one or more of those. I don’t think it was a great value-I will just shop the warehouse box in the future.

This was the first mystery box I bought from them. Haven't scrapbooked in a few years and was hoping this would excite me to start up again. Can't say that it did but that's the risk u take with mystery boxes. I think I could have spent about the same amount and picked things out I actually wanted from their warehouse sales. I got the same kits as you, washi tape instead of chipboard, 3 hello summer memos, xmas puffy stickers, baby boy & travel punch outs, and fall enamel dots

I also received this same combination. I appreciate the suggestions on the cartography kit. I tried searching for ideas online and found nothing on pinterest or youtube or google. (Just the kit itself.) They made more than one version, so surely someone is purchasing this intentionally. I think I will end up donating mine or using them as layering pieces behind paper I like. (which does feel wasteful). I was frustrated by the fact that I received three of the exact same thing that I won't use. I make cards almost exclusively and almost all of these are journaling cards so I won't use those either. I love the birthday kits. Even though I have very few little kids in my life, these colors work great together and the B sides make this very usable for adults as well. I also make a lot of cards with Jaded Blossom's gnome dies and these papers will work well in that combination. The Practically Perfect kit is nice and I will use that to make cards also. I received the fall enamel dots in my last box as well and I love the fall papers, so I know I will use both sets when I work on fall cards again. My washi is a nice generic teal stripe and that is useable. I was happy to not get an art print in this box as I have no use for those. I missed not receiving a 6 x 6 paper pad. All in all, this was my first Echo Park mystery box where I felt that I did not get enough that worked for me. I think I will skip the next one. I'm better off purchasing at the warehouse sales where you can select your own items. If I would have purchased the items I will use at the warehouse sale, I would have spent less than the $35.

If you have fun paper punches or die cut shapes, you could use them on the maps. For example, a heart, butterfly, or doily shape would be great. Afterwards wouldn't really know it was from a map. And you would have great embellishments to work with.

I got mine. It was the same as yours except the journaling cards. I got 3 different ones. And im like you. I don't know what to do with the maps. Thank you for sharing. If it wasn't for you. I would not have known about it. So thank you and keep up the great work.

I got all the same items as you but instead of chipboard I got a roll of washi. My memos are different designs then yours but I got 3 packs also.

I have made a photo journal with the Practically Perfect kit adding Mary Poppins accents here and there. Such fun paper! As for the cartography kit, I would make a travel photo journal with it. You don't have to keep the pages intact and can cut them up to fit an 8 x 8 photo journal, adding accent colored paper to compliment. I think they would be too stiff for a junk journal but that's my preference. You could also turn that paper into tags and ephemera to use in other projects you make. Have fun with your mystery box. I still have to open mine. 🙂

Fun mystery box!! The Practically Perfect collection is really nice....it is Mary Poppins based. I didn't get a box, but other than the Cartography papers, I liked everything!

The map PP, I would cut into smaller size to fit my album or spiral notebook. Add cardstock for photo border & embellishments.

I got the same collection kits as you and the same enamel dots. I didn't get chipboard stickers. Instead I got airplane washi tape. I got 3 packs of memo cards but they are different from yours. I got Jingle all the way puffy stickers. I'm happy with it. Thanks for the heads up!

this was my first it was the same kits as yours I got 3 packs of Polk a dot cards 2 cut apart Christmas puffy stickers a thing of washi and some enamel dots I was not thrilled. May try one more next month

I would love the maps! Would use for traveling. If you know you won't get somewhere I have seen them cut up and used as back ground which no one can figure out where it is, just the travel theme! I also love your haul videos and the info for us all to get in on some bargains. Thanks!

I got the same collections as you. I love the Practically Perfect. Someone else said that collection is based on Mary Poppins. I also have no clue what to do with the Cartography collection. I will never go to any of those places & the only thing I can think of to use it for is maybe someone who's in the military & travels all over. I got different cut apart sheets. I got the 3 packs of Memo cards but they were a different set. I saw one person that got note cards & envelopes I stead of the memo cards. I got the same enamel dots as you but I got Christmas puffy stickers, & I got a roll of washi tape instead of the chipboard stickers. I think these were nice boxes but I don't think they are anything to write home to mom about. I kind of wish they'd go back to the $50 boxes, but the change probably has a lot to do with the economy.

I was SO disappointed with my box! Especially when I see what other people got and what they had gotten in the past few $35 mystery boxes. I got the same collections as you did, which I had already purchased the 2 birthday kits at my local Tuesday morning, months ago for $6.99 each. I have no idea what I'll do with all those maps? I would have never purchased them. I got some scrunched up washi tape? And 3 identical packs of "memo" which were some hideous beige type? I can't use them at all. I have sent them 2 emails and no response. Another person contacted them about returning it for a refund and they told her nope, that she could try selling them on facebook? Wow! I added the items up and they are not at all $100 in retail. So, lesson learned, I will never order another mystery box again. I will stick with Tuesday Morning and the Warehouse sales.

First time buying one of these and am extremely disappointed!! 😔 I got same types of items and 3 of the same kits as you...2 birthdays and maps. I don't like or have use for the maps either. I won't be ordering a kit again. I normally LOVE Echo Park paper and thought I could at least use the backsides of paper if I didn't care for the kit's theme. The collections I got don't have generic backsides except for a few. 🙄

I got mine and I was so disappointed, not worth what I paid for it. I won’t be ordering again. Wish I had not wasted my money. One of the shops here has these items, I could have bought more for less money

they're always different, it's a chance you take when getting the boxes. I've only been disappointed a couple of times but that outweighs all the times I've been super happy with my box! I've had more good boxes than bad. What was in your box?

I agree with you, I was very disappointed with what I got. I won't be buying again. I feel like they just dumped a bunch of junk on us. This was the first time I've ever ordered, maybe if I would have had a nice one before, I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I would rather have paid $15 more and gotten some good merchandise. I got the 4 paper packs you got, a couple of baby ephemera sheets, a turquoise striped washi, a fall enamel dots, jingle all the way puffy stickers, & 3 hello summer memos. I don't have any grandkids. I've just seen so many seasonal things, I just assumed there might be some paper packs in there, that were seasonal. I know it was a gamble, I just based my purchase on all the previous unboxings I had seen on utube. Live and learn, I just want others to know the quality of the boxes have changed.

I got 2 boxes and both had the same stuff as you but the memo cards were a bit different. I was very disappointed. Last time a got a mystery box I was so happy with it. I wish I hadn’t gotten 2. Oh well.
